Re: Official Nintendo Topic
At least you have plenty of time and you can send as many photos as you want. I guess the more (especially with quality/originality) the merrier!

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Well, I said that because the 3DS's camera, despite being 3D, is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen. It's a good handheld system, but the camera hardly even passes as a camera it's that bad. An actual photo contest for the 3DS sounds like it would have to be run by a ten-year-old in order to be taken seriously. Really, my 2002 cellphone could take better pictures than that dust-filter of a 3D camera.Haruka wrote:Well Rayfan, it is an official Nintendo contest available for some European countries.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Oh I see what you mean now.
Well the resolution is kinda poor, I agree, but Nintendo obviously wants us to take original photos and the image quality won't be evaluated.
I'm participating since the prizes are really interesting, at least I'm giving more use to the camera until the end of the contest.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Just ordered me a white 3ds with Super Mario Land and Zelda! Have to wait until wednesday though
Tried playing Ocarina of Time on the virtual console, but when I started playing it again I had no idea what I was supposed to do/where to go, so I gave up out of boredom. Here's hoping the 3ds version does a better job

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I got a 3ds on December a flame red bundled with SM3DL
Now i have
Starfox 64 3d
Super Mario 3d land
Mario kart 7
Rayman 3D
I've become acquainted with the analog stick or circle pad
(well in 2 days)
So now I downloaded mutant mudds demo (it's out)
I have problems using the D pad (even though you can use the circle pad) my hands feel uncomfortable
Meh
Anyways have you seen the dreamcast control layout and the 3ds control layout?
P.S sorry but not keen on giving out FCs

Kindof ironic really, given that your username refers to the opposition.Raymanarenaps2 wrote:http://nintendoforum.createaforum.com/

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Why do systems these days even have camera's build into them in the first place? Personally, the store is the only app I use on game consoles (3DS, Wii, PS3) and that's just to get more games. All those things like a camera or Streetpass are just gimmicks that add little to the console itself. The games are why we buy the console.RayFan9876 wrote:Well, I said that because the 3DS's camera, despite being 3D, is the worst piece of crap I have ever seen. Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I would try to get something in eShop if the cards were already available, but I believe it is a problem also in other european countries like France. eShop is for now restricted to players who have a credit card.

I am talking about pre-paid creditcards.
(you get a code insead of a card and you have to insert that code insted of a visa code and voila 20€ on your 3DS)
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I never saw anything like that in here, either.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Yesterday I was caught by surprise. Do you guys remind the European Nintendo 3DS 3D Photo Contest? Yesterday I received an e-mail from Nintendo saying I was one of the winners in Portugal! I wasn't really expecting to have a place in the winners knowing how difficult it would be against so many Portuguese contestants owning a 3DS.
I have no idea which prize I won, but it will depend of the rank I got. Third place wins a 15€ eShop card, a second place wins a Mario Statue to hold the 3DS, and the first place wins the Mario Statue and a 3DS game. I guess I need to wait to see.
But I'm very happy for this surprise!
