Thank you very much. You've been a big help. Could you correct any other mistakes I may have made in the book?

I'll do it, since it is based off of my story after all. In bulk, though, because doing it as every chapter goes by is a bit disruptive.

I'm really stressed out right now. I have the time, but it's not good time. I'm sorry for taking so long, I'll respond when my head is a little straighter.

Good luck, RF. If it's any consolation, I'm pretty stressed too as I've had no free time from Wednesday and will continue to have none until Tuesday... you'll notice I'm actually taking time off my sleep to come here.

Wow, this a sooo awesome project ! If you finish it, it would be the best 3D rayman ever ! I'm with you bro' !It looks better than a lot of games developped by an entire corporation !
I dont think i can be of any usefullness, but if you need anything non-computing, just tell me.

By the way, what program do you use for the musics ? (Awesome)
And to do a complete game by your own, were you working on any company ?

Thanks my friend! :)

For the music I use Logic Pro 8, which is exclusive to Mac unfortunately.

And no, I'm sixteen, there isn't a chance I would have ever previously been in a company. :mryellow: I do wish to start one though in the future.

Fuck science,it's boring!

Anyway, have you worked on yellow Lums? Will Lums make cool sounds depending on their color like in R2?

Nah, haven't worked on them yet. Since they're basically 2D graphics, Spanex can probably do them. But they aren't necessary at all right now.

However, sometimes they may appear as 3D models, it depends on the situation.

Thanks brah.

Hey brehs, here are some arty shots of the Memory Realm - which is a cross between the Hall of Doors and the Front, in the sense that you can fully explore a HoD style setting on foot. Also, it has a flowing day/night cycle:

In the last picture there, you can see a cage sitting on you-know-who's roost, which Spanex textured (though you can't see the texture too well right now since it's pretty far away).

Simply epic. Though the cage seems a little stretched height-wise, is that the look you were going for?

POLOKUS NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ah! This keeps getting better and better! Funny coincidence is that the beta I'm playing at this moment has a setting that's almost the exact same! I've recorded it, too. If you want you can watch some of it later on my youtube channel. Maybe it'll inspire you.

Yep! Here are some closeups:

Let me rephrase that, you can hardly see the texture properly in this lighting. Nonetheless, it adds the feeling of "texture," even without being able to see the details:

Ignore the texture of the surface the cage is sitting on, I'll fix that.

Sure! I'd be interested to see. :)

Also, I forgot to post a picture of your vine texture in-engine. Here's a comparison without and with its bumpmap, just to demonstrate the effectiveness of having one:

As you can see, having it with gives a very 3D appearance, despite being only 2D. I haven't added one for the cage yet, but it should make quite a difference.
