Nice skins so far!

What about Tarayzan? Or even the Musician? :P

I wonder... What about a texture mod to make Rayman, Globox and the Teensies into mechas in the style from Moody Clouds? I'd do it but I think a bit of perfecting my drawing skill would be needed first. :|

Not really - just take the mecha's sprites and put them over top of Rayman's.

It's possible to create mech versions of playable characters.

Tarayzan should be no problem either, but Musician is another story; his hair might not fit the model. The game uses flat shapes as models for the textures. There is a chance Rayman's shapes are not big enough for an afro.

I kind of meant brand new sprites of all characters based on the style of Moody Clouds. That's why I mentioned the drawing bit. :|

That'd be an awful lot of work but yes it's still possible.

If I may, I can draw out the skins for the characters but maybe someone with experience with Text mod can maybe do it if they want?

Someone should, like, turn all the eye textures to blank and draw empty bleeding eyesockets on the heads. :mryellow:

This thread is pretty genius! Someone should make a R2 Rayman :) Or at least, could someone change Rayman's colors to match Rayman 1's?

On the first page of this thread I remember seeing RayFan doing a R1 Rayman Texmod, that's fairly similar to what you just said, right?

...I feel a strange urge to make a texture mod which changes every skin into badly-drawn versions of each character. It shall be glorious!

RayFan's already making a Rayman 1 skin, and said she might even make it a mod. Epicness in a zip file has never been awesomer.

EDIT: Ninja'd by Edditaur. BWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

I have another idea for a "crossover" sort of mod, but it might break a trademark law or something.

To recolor Rayman and Globox so that they look like Asterix and Obelix respectively.

And I just thought of another one: their Mad TV counterparts!

But yeah, not sure if fair use.

Hey, this thread better not be dying! No-one's made Rayman Horrigins yet! I want the bleeding empty eyesockets!

*Ahem* Eh, A Tarayzan skin retexture would be somewhat easy to make I imagine, aside from the feet.

The feet shouldn't be very hard, actually. As for Smega's suggestions, they are probably okay since it's a fan project.
