Exactly. In my opinion,RO was too easy.To find the cages, and overall, but find the cages was just stupidly easy.Yoshidude99 wrote:Like exploring around for cages.TeensieKing wrote:How can you have it R2 style in a 2D game?Yoshidude99 wrote:It would be good to have it Rayman 2 styleMaster4lyf1 wrote:Speaking of Electoons, I wonder how the cage mechanic will be implemented...will they stick to the RO style, revert to an older style, revamp it again or remove it?

I think this will be released on Wii, as well as Wii U. In the trailer some of the people are playing with a regular Wii controller, but that might just be wishful thinking.

Re: Rayman Legends
I like the new enemies, they resemble frogs with belts LOL
and the porcupine monsters in the cave level, they look ferocious until provoked by the exploding mushrooms. Remind me of Darktoons
I'm hoping for the return of Piranhas, and possibly the solider ants or the Psychlops (he was my fave baddie in Origins, plus he could fit in as well)
EDIT: Just noticed the swamp environment, looks pretty cool with the monsters crawling in the background and bats flying

I also agree. I would rather prefer to see Ly.Hunchman801 wrote:This character barely shows any creativity in my opinion.spiraldoor wrote:Not sure what to make of the Viking girl. She doesn’t really seem like a Rayman character. Why not make Ly playable instead?
Re: Rayman Legends
I know we've all heard this before, but I'd really love it if they brought back more characters from Rayman 1.

Well we'll see what happens. I think all of us can agree that we'd rather see ly then "that viking".
Though seeing Origins gameplay in the Rayman 1 universe would be awesome. Guess we should wait for Origins 3 XD

I highly doubt he'll be playable, but whatever special feature he provides, I will be all like:Rayfist wrote:Notice how at the end of the video he is about to put ezio on the wii-U board.

Re: Rayman Legends
I wonder how they will do a Rayman Figure? invisable plastic tubes to hold him together? have him attached to somthing like a pillar? And it seems there is no health system again outside of the heart.

Re: Rayman Legends
Ok, for uninformed people here: Yes, Wii U will be more powerful than PS3, I read the specifications in Gonintendo.com. It also supports DLC, and according to an interview, Nintendo is trying to give important focus on that part. Back to the topic, come on, I'm sure that Ezio will be playable, what else do you want? Ezio as an enemy would be unappealing, people always want to control him.

That according to many smart people, even GABE NEWELL (Creator of Valve) who tried it out said it won't be as powerful.sergiomonty wrote:Ok, for uninformed people here: Yes, Wii U will be more powerful than PS3, I read the specifications in Gonintendo.com. Re: Rayman Legends
I get the feeling that many people misinterpreted what those figures do. They obviously aren't how you "select characters," because take note that none of them did that, they just activated events. Maybe Ezio appears and uses arrow storm (which kills everyone of screen) or something of the sort. It would almost be pathetic if they made Ezio a playable character, because this is supposed to be a time where Rayman is trying to gain his independence again.

Re: Rayman Legends
Isn't the Wii U not being more powerful than the PS3 kind of... really, really pathetic? I mean I know it has touch screen capabilities, but for christ's sake, the Vita was just released and it's almost as powerful as the PS3. How cheap can Nintendo go?

Why do you think I always talk about nes, snes games. I love oldschool nintendo, even though I own a 3ds, I really still dislike all the new nintendo mostly, and I hate people who SUPPORT IT insanely, I have nothing wrong with someone who supports it, just someone going as far as to saying it's better then the oldschool... yeah...
