Sorry to everyone on the list, I'm working hard on the story but for some reason I'm putting way too much detailed descriptions of everything in it so it's taking a really long time (I'm at 10 pages and it's only right at the end of the second level). I guess I'll have to delay it till somewhere in summer holidays as I'm quickly getting less and less time to write it with the upcoming exams.

Anyway, to go along with the Rayman Legends reveal and to release an update once in a while, I thought it would be nice to reveal the new name of Eclipse (which is an overused title - and it gets associated with Twilight too much).

So yes, DREAMBOUND it is (I won't update the topic title yet so everyone knows what this is). And yes, that heart in the logo is important. It might or might not refer to the Heart of the World, which plays a crucial role in the new story.

I'll also introduce the characters on the picture, from left to right:

• A mysterious animal keeping an eye the group...
• Lily, a girl from the mythical land of Prhys. Ly also comes from there. But she sure is looking glum... what's on her mind?
• Green, the garden Raygnome that can talk.
• Blue, the strangely huge electoon who was found by four fishermen teensies at the shores of the Sea of Lums.
• (The small teensie under Blue): Minimus, the Teensie with the ambition to become king.
• Minor, the Teensie who always says things right.
• Maior, the Teensie who corrects Minor when he says things wrong. Oh, and... Minor never says things right, by the way.
• Maxhimush, the Teenshie who hash trouble pronounching the "sh".
• Trémochiax (French people should get the pun), a witch who mysteriously has Bégoniax's underwear on her head. Oh, and I heard she likes hunting. And apparently, photobombing is one of her specialities too.

Floating in the sky is the mythical land of Prhys. You can see the beautiful Tearfall (no, it doesn't fall into Trémochiax's underwear o_O).
And at the top of the picture is the Castle of Prhys where the Queen of Prhys lives. She is said to be of unmatched beauty. So much that even Polokus has feelings for her. She's been having a lot of problems lately... but you'll have to play the game for that (or read the script).

Anyway i'm using game maker, too, but i can't figure out how to draw some variables at the right ( or whichever ) corner of the screen. Can you tell me how to do it?

Sorry for the late reply. I was a bit busy with a programming project I had to do.
I'm not sure what you're asking for but I suppose you want to use the GML code "draw_text(x,y,string);" and your x and y coordinates change depending on whether you're using views or not. For example, to draw text in the upper left corner of the screen normally, you'd use

If you want it to follow your view, you'd use...

Actually, I'm not so sure myself anymore. Because of university I'm not as good at Game Maker anymore. Java, Python and some Unix languages have taken over instead. I'm gonna try to learn more about other languages more used for game making this summer vacation. And 3D too. That'll open op choices for what to make my game in...

No, you are correct about the GM, Drolpiraat.

To, for example, display the text "You are now at position: 254, 233" with the location being the variables x and y of your object, you would have to use the following code, granted that you are using views:

The string() tags are so you can display a variable and can use the + command to indicate it's all part of one string within the draw_text function.

While I did quite like the original story. I myself am definitely looking forward to the complete rewrite of the story. I myself am one of the privileged, the chosen if you will, who gets to witness the story before completion. Personally I think it needs more space marines.
