Really? The same thing happens with me when I check back, though I never considered it a problem, because A) it doesn't bother me, and B) I didn't even notice. I guess it does bother some though.beebo44 wrote:I think I see the problem, because the game fucks with your eyesight when it zooms out while your concentrating on a single point.RayFan9876 wrote:I don't see the problem, it looks fine to me.Haruka wrote:OK, I'm with a stupid problem in the PC version of Rayman Origins.![]()
When I play the Tricky Treasure level "Playing in the Shade", the "camera" is zoomed for an unknown reason.Does anyone has experienced this problem?
If not, I guess I'll visit the Ubisoft Technical Support forums for the second time. Having the camera like this makes the level unplayable!

Re: Rayman Origins
The technical support says there's no problem in the pic, it is really like that. It is hard to believe, because the screen was way different when I played the PS3 and Wii versions.

It's funny how you remember that from Origins already, you must be really avid.Haruka wrote:The technical support says there's no problem in the pic, it is really like that. It is hard to believe, because the screen was way different when I played the PS3 and Wii versions.

Is it possible to share an image of the event in question?
Re: Rayman Origins
It is attached in the post where I've talked about the problem.

Did you have to make that pic a PNG?

It's only 350 KB though, that's smaller than most high-quality JGP's at its size.Hunchman801 wrote:Did you have to make that pic a PNG?
Re: Rayman Origins
Sorry Hunch, to be honest I didn't notice it came out as a PNG. I'll remove it right away, since everyone thinks I'm crazy.

Re: Rayman Origins
Because in all the other versions the camera isn't like this?
And the fact you don't see a crap in the floor, like holes and spikes is perfectly normal?
I even see the graphics more pixelized like if the game decided to make a scaling for any kind of odd reason.

Re: Rayman Origins
Thanks RayFan, I'm glad it doesn't happen only to me. Bless my visual memory.
And apparently more people that played the PC version and owned a display with the 5:4/4:3 format had this but didn't report this to Ubisoft's Tech Support.
And yeah, the Spanish think this is how the game is.

Re: Rayman Origins
Why does it matter if you already have the other versions of the game and have beaten it though?

Re: Rayman Origins
What does not matter to one can matter to another, whilst Haruka has the PS3 version of the game to fall back upon, most PC players won't have such a luxury, and thus, if they come across this unresolved issue, it will inhibit their experience of RO, thus, it would be better to raise the issue, even if it does not affect us as such, on behalf of those who are affected.Yoshidude99 wrote:Why does it matter if you already have the other versions of the game and have beaten it though?
Re: Rayman Origins
Exactly. It is a problem it is affecting to me, RayFan and two other people I also had contact with. It is already 4 people experiencing the very same glitch.

This glitch appears in Hunter Gatherer (that shady part?) level aswell.
