Do you miss your childhood?
Have to admit this that I do, I miss the times when I feel the pure freedom of thinking anything is possible. I remembered I loved Rayman and played it a lot without the worry of all the insanity that arrives in the teen & adult years. Now that I'm close to graduating college, and unsure of what to do with my life(though I do want to go for photography). All the paying bills, the times the buses arrive, blah blah blah...
Do you? I just wanna cry right now...

Yeah I miss it, be a teen is a fu**ing shit.
Re: Do you miss your childhood?
I don't miss it.
And being a teen isn't shit.
Being a child sucks, being a teen doesn't, only your hormones are telling you otherwise.
Actually, some peoples teen years are the happiest years of their lives.

I might get the illusion that being a kid was better, but being a teen is awesome. I feel only awesomeness as a teen. As a child I felt crap and I didn't even get too much happiness due to my parents arguing a lot then divorcing when I was 9. Nowadays everything's pretty fine. When I'm an adult I'll probably only miss the teenage years.

It pleases me that you cannot believe my life is as superb as I know it to be.
Re: Do you miss your childhood?
Being a child was nice. Being a pre-teen was meh. Being a teen was very nice. Being an adult kicks ass. I feel great, I do stuff I enjoy, I'm not living with my parents anymore. I don't miss my childhood at all, I miss some friends though.

Of course I don't believe that kind of bull crap, little Mr Perfection.spiraldoor wrote:It pleases me that you cannot believe my life is as superb as I know it to be.
Childhood was okay, I guess. It wasn't the best, but neither was it bad. At teen years it went a little downhill. Now I feel a lot better.

Don't your worry about all the responsibilities and stuff? College is already loading my shoulders, even if I put my possessions & family life aside! Maybe I took the wrong course in college or jumped in the wrong time...DesLife wrote:Being a child was nice. Being a pre-teen was meh. Being a teen was very nice. Being an adult kicks ass. No.

I really like this outlook, because I do think it's the most honest one here. In direction to all those who say they miss their [good] childhood, do you really want to go back to being a stupid, ignorant retard like you all once were? If you were to replay your childhood, you wouldn't have done it any better than you had already. I say fuck that, knowledge is power. I can't wait till I'm 19 (only two and a bit more petty years to go) so I can have that total freedom.DesLife wrote:...Being a teen was very nice. Being an adult kicks ass. I certainly do not miss my childhood having been bullied for a good 10 years of it.

Would you prefer to be a weakling with an underdeveloped brain and have your mother feed you and change your nappies?Danone wrote:Yeah I miss it, be a teen is a fu**ing shit.

Lel, speaking of underdeveloped kids... aside from brain development, being 190 cm tall was the best thing that aging has brought me.
