It woulda been nice if the bottom screen was useful. Maybe have the action there so we could touch the relics. The top screen could be like a zoomed in view. :p I dreamt of that last night.

Aw man X(. That's even better then the Ubisoft deal that was around yesterday, when I decided to buy the game! And I could have saved so much money too! Oh well, at least I have it now :P

You're taking that well. Most people I know would be furious to have just lost £20 like that. :P

It reminds me of having bought Portal 2 for €40 (a year ago) and then seeing it being sold for €6,79 on steam. (a week ago).

I really don't understand why they chose RO to be the daily deal while they know that it was going to be for sale for less.

Really, I have spend €35 on Portal 2 and I don't think that's a wasted money- the game is simply amazing and now it has an in-game editor.

About R:O on Steam, I have a retail version, so I'll just wait for Summer Camp Seal [sic], just to have the game on Steam

Yeah it was really worth the money, but when I see that price I can't help but thinking that I really should stop buying games the moment they are released -_-

+1

I think I only do that now exceptionally to Rayman games like Rayman Origins and the upcoming Legends.

Got to try the RO 3DS demo at last and I am really not impressed with it, for a start the framerate is a lot slower than it was on the home consoles, the 3D became too mind boggling for me so I ended up turning it off after 10 minutes, and I'm sure we've heard a few music blips here and there. To think they delayed this version of the game so that they could tweak it, well they haven't done a very good JAAAAWB. What's to expect from such a crap overseas team though eh?

gonna try the RO 3ds demo today
Edit: Wow, I'm a tad bit upset with this
Some of the music skipped at times, it seems as if it's going at a bit slow pace, is this just me?
This seems like more of a DS game then a 3ds game... I think the 3ds has a lot more capabilities then what I've seen on RO, of course RO had wonderful graphics you can't just port it all, I mean they look like they could have been a little better? OR maybe not? Who knows, either way, I also noticed the angry birds level is stacked differently :o

Woah... well, I'm gonna say something that I just noticed after playing the demo a lot. Rayman Origins for 3ds is like a bad pizza... when it sucks, it's still pretty good. I mean, the gameplay still keeps you entertained. I hope the final version corrects all of the mistakes that the demo had.

Not to mention, the jump command is assigned to TWO buttons [a and b] so why couldn't they set one for a zoom function?

Bad pizza is still bad pizza. ;P

that method is used for other games, like New super Mario Bros, I don't see what's wrong with that, however, a zoom in would have been great...

I saw a gameplay video and first thing I can say is I was absolutely horrified by the audio quality. How could they fuck up a port this bad? It's just... Ugh. Disgust. I'm glad I got a Vita and not a 3DS now. Though I mean absolutely no offence to anyone who does have a 3DS whatsoever. :|

-Rayman DS
-Rayman 3 HD
and now... dare I say? Rayman Origins 3ds?
I only played it once, but I must say, that one experience drove me with a sick feeling.

I will be buying VITA without a doubt when price lowers
It seems like Rayman is getting some bad ports lately :c

I honestly am not sure what to say, what is with the graphics? It has the quality of a youtube video in 240p, not to complain, because I honestly do not want to, but is it just because of how ridiculously zoomed out it is? Yeesh.
Edit: I obviously will be buying this game when price lowers for the 3ds, 40$ does not seem too much worth it

From what I've seen not even $20 would be the worth it for this one. The lower framerate and horrible lag/audio skipping in some places makes this seem like a awful mess. Hopefully the UbiArt Framework is mended for any future releases with the 3DS.
