Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
If it tries to be like SPORE Hero Arena for Nintendo DS, then here it is a mediocre game for sure.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Are you guys carefully listening to that background track? Does that sound like an arty wink to the Mos Eisley Canteen theme or what? It sounds like a funny remix, or something inspired by it. You can definately hear the resemblance.sergiomonty wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM8ZZEN5 ... re=g-all-u

LOL I thought it was just me, but yes, indeed, the song sounds quite similar!Shrooblord wrote:Are you guys carefully listening to that background track? Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Don't mean to go too much off topic here but
Rayman 2, and Rayman Arena was Released as a PS2 Classic on PSN
I wonder if the PS2 Version of Rayman Raving Rabbids will be released on PSN, seems very likely since that is the only PS2 Rayman game that is not on PSN yet

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Judging by the fact Globoxed notes that he has PS2 Rayman 2 (Revolution), I'm assuming he is in the American area.
Please could you confirm Globoxed?

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
See my post at Rayman M/Arena thread.
Rayman Raving Rabbids on PS2 was quite a late release (2006) and I don't recall it ever being a big seller for obvious reasons, so I shouldn't think it'd be on PSN as a PS2 "classic" for a while. A port of it with trophies and that, sorta like they would have done if the actual PS3 version of the game wasn't cancelled, would be much more preferred.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Rayman and the Rabbids have gone their separate ways, and whilst I don't hate the Rabbids and do respect what they have achieved, I'd rather the RRR trilogy be lost to the currents of time.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Im just curious but do you fellow rayman fans count Raving rabbids as a main entry to the series? i always cant decide whether I want to or not :/

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
It's only really a part of Rayman up until TV Party which was the last Rabbids that had Rayman, then came the big franchise split that the vast majority of the fandom were hoping and praying for; then it was a matter of whether people decided to keep following Rabbids or not; if I'm honest the games themselves have been a mixed bag but I'm more interested by all the nice merchandise there had been in the past 3 years, going from vinyl toys to handbags.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
They are essencially Rayman spin-offs from RRR to TV Party. From Rabbids Go Home up the brand became independent from Rayman (Something they should have done earlier... how I suffered in those years...).

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
The make a lot of Rabbids merchandise but not Rayman merchandise at all. So wrong in my opinion. I know its difficult to make a Rayman plush, because Rayman has no arms and legs, but how about a Globox plush? At least better than nothing.Cairnie wrote: nice merchandise there had been in the past 3 years, going from vinyl toys to handbags.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Yeah in my eyes they are are just a silly spin off series just like what Mario party is to the Mario seriesHaruka wrote:They are essencially Rayman spin-offs from RRR to TV Party. Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Finally! A second member agrees with me! Would you like to support the releasing of R4 or something? Youre very welcome to my Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies thread.Bzzit wrote:i wish that original concept for rayman 4 raving rabbids would one day be developed so I could kick some rabbid ass as rayman.......
@ Others who dont want R4: I still of course dont force you to agree with me or anything, but Bzzit just mentioned another reason for R4 releasing. If you hate the Rabbids and even their prototypes so much that would be just good because you would be really able to beat the crap outta them.
Another reason: If RL is gonna be only for Wii U, Ubi could simply release R4 along with RL. R4 could be released for all systems and PC, so we who are not getting a Wii U can have another Rayman game. At least better than nothing, isnt it.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
A official Rayman 4 will never happen, nor will a official Rayman game with the Rabbids happen.

dude, you dont know how many times I have watched that trailer and wished for it to be realMammothphant 2 wrote:Finally! A second member agrees with me! Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Ive been thinking a little how to support it. If we would make a petition we would have to find some more who want R4. The other thought is to send a letter to Ubisoft Montpellier and show Ancel that we care about his never released project. Man i would love to explore more open levels of the gorgeos world, fight enemies in massive challenging fights, ride big creatures, face the Emperor and the enormous one eyed ship.Bzzit wrote:dude, you dont know how many times I have watched that trailer and wished for it to be realMammothphant 2 wrote:Finally! But lets talk about it in Rayman 4 Bitter Bunnies thread. Its in the first page.
