Re: Rayman Legends
Even if Legends is NOT a Wii-U exclusive, it's not stopping me from buying a Wii-U, Nintendo has caught my eye!
Nintendo land looks a bit ridiculous imo, it's just playstation home with Nintendo from my view XD
Either way nintendo land doesn't sound all that bad, but I'll just have to buy a Wii-U to see that. Other then that the Wii-U seems like it will be an amazing system.
I'm really sad with the small library of the Vita... Assasins creed III is actually having another version of it's own on it which is incredible! Other then that though not many Vita games were presented. *SIGH* small vita library is small, guess I'll still wait for a price drop.

Re: Rayman Legends
Pikmin 3 looks totally worth it, and actually, is good to know that they're not releasing so many games, but little bits of awesomeness, so I can buy them all
And yes, several official sources, including Rayman's website, confirm that Rayman Legends is a Wii U exclusive, so stop praying and just wait for the ports
You know? I think I'll stop preocupating about the toys... I mean, it's obvious that they were cancelled and just made for demostrative purposes. If something as important and revolutionary as scanning toys was implemented (ignore skylanders), I think they would have shown that at the E3 at first, right? but they didn't show or say anything, they just presumed WiiU's touchscreen and Murphy. Also, I've checked the Wii U gamepad's specification, and I can't read "toy scanning" anywhere, it's just a simple touchscreen, not even multitouch, just a simple touchscreen.

Re: Rayman Legends
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that this appears for Vita, which was the only platform I enjoyed Origins on (I have the PS3 version, but for some reason I can't enjoy side-scrollers on home consoles, and the 3DS version's demo really felt wrong in some way)

Whoa, chill. Like I said, I honestly don't mind if this is a exclusive, I think it's a wonderful opportunity for us to buy a Wii-U.NotaKuroi wrote:Awww, new trailer confirms - that's exclusive.. Bastards.. ubi, I hate you

First of all, where is this trailer?
Second, to Rayfist: That's nice for you. But what of those who are eager to play the game but won't be able to afford the console, at least not right away? Or what if they don't want to buy it at all?
Until I see any proof that confirms the game's exclusivity, I will not give up hope.

Re: Rayman Legends
When i readed the story it disappointed me a lot. I mean again too simple story? I almost hope Gabrielle Shrager leaves the Rayman team after RL. Deep and unique stories are what Rayman series need but the new members of Ubi Montpellier seem to think that the hand drawn look and visuals of the Ubi Art engine can save everything, no way, story is part of the art as well, especially in Rayman games. Well maybe the RL story will be deeper inside, or else ill stay in what i said.
Im definitely not getting a Wii U. I think its a stupid system. Its like Wii, but one player uses a special controller to manipulate the screen, that just dont make sense to me. It sounds like money making, because those who have Wii and want to get a Wii U are forced to buy another Wii with just few new features. It also seems to make gaming more complicated, instead of simple fun (like Wii). Wii is great, because its based on simple fun, but Wii U is exactly the opposite.
Giving sometimes critic for big companies doesnt mean you hate them, it means you know they could do better.

Re: Rayman Legends
That trailer? I thought you were talking about something newer. Let me rephrase then: How does this trailer confirm the game is Wii-U exclusive? Is it because they were using a Wii-U pad? They didn't even mention anything about exclusivity yet and I won't believe any of this until somebody from Ubisoft states otherwise. Just my 2cents.NotaKuroi wrote:on the main page of RPC, for exampleSpanex wrote:Rayfist wrote:Whoa, chill. Re: Rayman Legends
Maybe that's all it supports as of yet. What's the point in putting a 'supported platforms' section up if all you're going to support is one console?

but I don't how they can realise same gameplay (active actions of Murphy - cut, spinning, turn platforms etc.) on other platforms...

Re: Rayman Legends
Spanex said all. Rayfist, unfortunately I think there's only a small minority of the people in the forum that will be able to buy a Wii U in release or few time later.Spanex wrote:That's nice for you. The price is rumoured to be about 300€, and it is quite expensive. As much as a PS Vita with 3G connection.
I would never give 300€ or more for a game console: 300€ is a LOT of videogames. If I ever get a Wii U, I would rather prefer to wait for a good price cut, and until there Rayman Legends can get much more cheaper. I believe that this time I won't have other choice other than watching walkthrough videos in YouTube at the time of the game's release, with all my pity. I can't steal a bank either. I also refuse to buy Wii U in release after the attitude of Nintendo towards the first Nintendo 3DS buyers. Even if they tried to reward us with 20 free games, I felt scammed. Not to mention that the production cost of a 3DS was said to be 75€ and made by slavery hand-working by Foxconn employees. The difference doesn't go for them for sure.
