Re: Rayman Legends
Isn't $99.99 a pretty poor estimation? I mean, it's a standard game, it will probably be sold at $50-$60.
Re: Rayman Legends
I thought it was a poor estimate when I posted it so no need to worry, but truly guessing it'll probally be priced at the price of an Xbox360/PS3 game which is $60. You know how retailers are at making predictions!
Have you guys also noticed that they didn't showcase any of the toys and NFC communication that was in the leaked trailer at the e3 demonstration. They may have taken it out, but it wasn't that big of a deal I could care less if that feature was included or not. 45 Tings already, WOW! TINGS! SWEET TINGS! THEY'RE ALL MINE! HA HA HA!

Re: Rayman Legends
As I said before, yes, it was probably taken out. The Wii U gamepad doesn't have a scanner, it's just a simple touchscreen.Rayfanboy wrote:Have you guys also noticed that they didn't showcase any of the toys and NFC communication that was in the leaked trailer at the e3 demonstration. Re: Rayman Legends
$250 US translates into exactly the same amount in Australian dollars. If a few more games that tickle my fancy for Wii U are released, I may just get it. But I will most likely trade in my Wii to get money for the Wii U. I mean, Ninty already said you'll be able to play Wii games on Wii U, so I'll just trade in the console n it's own. (Maybe with a game or two.) Probably not on release day. There are always price drops for consoles very soon after release. Plus if it's released this year, Christmas price drops will be in my favour! Also, the Rayman pulling the dragon's tongue artwork is my phone wallpaper.

Ubisoft will host another art competition on Rayman Pirate Community and the RaymanZone Forums (eww) and the consolation prize will be this shirt.sergiomonty wrote:Booth Interview:

Re: Rayman Legends
Guys and girls are you sure Michel Ancel has been working on RL? So far hes been hiding from intreviews and theres instead that guy with the curly hair and glasses (what was his name).
Re: Rayman Legends
Don't worry. I am willing to send MY T-shirt for my best forum buddy!RayFan9876 wrote:You can say that again.Rulez wrote:and the consolation prize will be this shirt...they want to tease us.
However I'm not sure if Danone would like one.

Re: Rayman Legends
If he has taken part here, I doubt he's taken part in the story; it seems so out of place if you compare it to even Rayman Origins' vague storyline, which, while nearly nonexistent, did seem like something Raymanish that would come from Ancel's mind.Mammothphant 2 wrote:Guys and girls are you sure Michel Ancel has been working on RL? Re: Rayman Legends
According to a friend of a friend of mine who went to E3 (well that's all I could find!), Legends in being developed for the SmartGlass as well. I don't know whether it'll be available at the same time as the Wii U version, nor have I heard anything about PlayStation 3.

Don't get me started on how much tax I have to pay here.spiraldoor wrote:Taxpayers.RayFan9876 wrote:My word, I don't see how anyone couldn't like that.

So this smartglass thing, it's only for Xbox, right?

Re: Rayman Legends
Yeah, from what I've heard it's basically an application available for Windows Phone, Android and iOS that allows you to use the device as a touchscreen controller. Sounds pretty cool if you ask me.
Re: Rayman Legends
I'd just wish it was compatible with PS3.Hunchman801 wrote:Yeah, from what I've heard it's basically an application available for Windows Phone, Android and iOS that allows you to use the device as a touchscreen controller. Sounds pretty cool if you ask me.

Michel Ancel is not even working on this, I think.sergiomonty wrote:Booth Interview:

Here's another French booth interview: http://www.gameblog.fr/news/29430-e3-ra ... mile-morel
Émile Morel is the lead game designer, which means Michel Ancel is not.
I don't have time to listen to this completely at the moment. It will probably contain some info we haven't heard before, so anyone care to listen to it and tell us what's new?

Probably as much as in Portugal and other European countries.RayFan9876 wrote: How much tax do you have to pay there?
@Droolie I understand few French but I think they were saying normal stuff. I heard something about a photo but again, I don't understand french quite well. I think the designer named Murfy as a "frog that flies".

Re: Rayman Legends
Rayman Legends is a Mario game, face it. New Super Mario Bros style multiplayer, Murfy is the second player in Galaxy, and the story is Super Mario 64, minus the whole plot.
