Jesus fucking christ... I said "cut down" = reduce, not do so much; that doesn't mean stop it altogether, and I said it entirely for the convenience of others who would rather not see chains of the same posts over and over. There aren't really many other forums that won't tell you stuff like that, in fact, you wouldn't last five seconds on some like Sonic retro because there have to be some standards on what to post and what not.

I actually know what you mean. This forum is not as serious about their rules as others are. It somewhat makes the place look less sophisticated, but "easier" to members.
I think it makes it more sophisticated; the majority of the frequent members here abides by the rules even though the punishment wouldn't immediately follow if they didn't; it's like they follow the rules because they think that's what's best - and it is - and not because someone tells them they have to (even though rules implies such constraint).

Not to mention that the admins are setting a horrible example for us when compared to any other forum and a standard system. In reality though, it's quite the opposite. Most forums want you to be a boring prick when you're on the staff, but here all you need is a sense of responsibility. Awesome!
