Lubba looking like Polokus?
I can say more differences than similarities.

Re: Rayman Origins
They both have exactly same kind of potato body, blue trousers and the faces are also pretty similar.
At least when i played SMG2 and saw Lubba for the first time Polokus came to my head.
Anyway, now i have played RO almost everyday since it came in 29 of March. I have just played my favorite levels and bosses again and again. Well i had few breaks and played SPORE, but maybe now its time to have a big break with Rayman Origins. After a bit longer time it feels new again.

It would be so interesting to know where Magician's lines were supposed to be spoken. I mean, there clearly seems to be already a plan for the scene where The Magician talks.
Um, Michel's interview.. did anybody ask about it or were the lines exposed in that time when the questions were sent?
EDIT: Seems also that The Magician was going to be playable? If when that prequel idea was on, The Magician was still enemy but he would change alignment to good and be then playable? Who knows.

You don't think that 'Interview with Michel Ancel' thread was dedicated to prepare for that little question session the cameraman had with Ancel in the last video, do you? I hope not, myself.Reiska wrote:Um, Michel's interview.. did anybody ask about it or were the lines exposed in that time when the questions were sent?

I won't lie, I expected the game to look like this when it was announced for Wii for the first time...MyBodyIsReady wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5JkM-CYyWs - just look at this.

Re: Rayman Origins
Only Rayman and Globox are playable, the inflated Psychlops are a bit smaller, the inflated Lividstones are a bit bigger, there are less Lums and Mansays animation is a bit poorer. Is there more differences?

Re: Rayman Origins
So I guess that's not what you meant then, Reiska. Then what did you mean?

I meant this: viewtopic.php?t=7299Shrooblord wrote:So I guess that's not what you meant then, Reiska. Then what did you mean?
So, when I read the beta script, I thought that there was going to be a different final level, and it would be nice to hear what did they plan for it.
Sorry if I'm unclear.
EDIT: Oh, was the video the PC interview?

Yes, I realise you were referring to this, but what did you actually want to say?Reiska wrote:I meant this: viewtopic.php?t=7299Shrooblord wrote:So I guess that's not what you meant then, Reiska. Then what did you mean?
No, that's what I was pointing out: I hope it isn't, because if it is, that was highly impersonal and not at all filled with any of the questions we would have asked.Reiska wrote:EDIT: Oh, was the video the PC interview?

Is this a serious question?Reiska wrote:Oh, was the video the PC interview?
Re: Rayman Origins
"There will be no more magic when I'm done! My mechas will bring order! Ha ha ha!". The Magician speaks things like that, so, it seems there was going to be a different final level. There's also found that epic boss battle soundtrack.Shrooblord wrote:Yes, I realise you were referring to this, but what did you actually want to say?Reiska wrote:I meant this: viewtopic.php?t=7299Shrooblord wrote:So I guess that's not what you meant then, Reiska. The Bubble Dreamer's lines also refer to The Magician was going to be playable in one point of developement. Maybe when the game was going to be a prequel, the Magician was first a bad guy, then he would change alignment and be playable?
It would be interesting to hear about that from Michel. So, WAS THERE ANY QUESTIONS MADE ABOUT THAT or anything about the scrapped content?
Argh.
