Re: Rayman 1
The Atari Jaguar version makes it pretty clear what’s happening if you keep an eye on the health bar and the animations between the battles.

Re: Rayman 1
Is it possible to download the Atari jaguar version of Rayman with the sound and music too?
Re: Rayman 1
Jaguar emulators are still WIP, so sound and music typically goes out of key alot. It's improved so much in the last few years though (before, the sound coming on was a 1/20 chance and when it did it was so pitch bent and goofy it was comicalRayman502 wrote:Is it possible to download the Atari jaguar version of Rayman with the sound and music too?

Re: Rayman 1
I would have actually had a Jaguar off somebody my boyfriend knows if the bloody thing was even working, man the way he was jokingly tossing it about in the front room...
Re: Rayman 1
I'm interested to download Rayman Designer, but I don't know will it work. I have Windows 7 64-bit.
I found this:

But..
Well, maybe I just try it when I have time.

Is this necessary? I don't want burn anything just to notice that it doesn't work. The big ISO file inside is a file you have to burn to a disc.

Re: Rayman 1
The last time I've played in the emulator, the game was already 100% playable, with no sound/music glitches and graphical glitches. The FPS were also smooth in the 50/60.Electoon wrote:Jaguar emulators are still WIP, so sound and music typically goes out of key alot. If I ever saw a Jaguar with Rayman I'd be sure to pick it up, I'd love to experience it properly (and rip the music how it should sound
)
Hopefully I'll record a Jaguar walkthrough now that the game is fully playable in VirtualJaguar.
Re: Rayman 1
Now I have Rayman Designer, but there's one problem, which should be very small tiny problem
How can I launch it in window mode? My screen is about 23", so, full screen is pain..

Re: Rayman 1
Go to the folder you installed Rayman Designer and click in ''Comfiguration'', then select windows mode.

Doesn't work. Also that -w thingie effects nothing.Danone wrote:Go to the folder you installed Rayman Designer and click in ''Comfiguration'', then select windows mode.
When I launch the game, there's black window (maybe command line) and I think it makes it to the full screen.
Any help?
Re: Rayman 1
That weird, I should install again that game for help you.
Re: Rayman 1
I may help you by uploading the Rayman Forever ISO file ( which also contains Rayman 1, Forever, Gold and Designer ) since i have it and works perfectly with PowerISO.
Re: Rayman 1
I use MagicDisc. Does that affect to it?
Re: Rayman 1
I never used that, so i don't know. The upload is at 10 % anyway, but it's so slow...
Re: Rayman 1
Argh, when I played it all colours was suddenly messed up. When I quit (oh, that horrible speak when you quit) the taskbar was gone!
And, still full screen.
And I was so excited about making own levels.

Re: Rayman 1
If the colors are messed up, that's due to a pallet change in the PCX files (found in each world). They must have the correct 256 color pallet, else all the colors will be thrown off the Empire State Building.

Re: Rayman 1
I'm using the latest version of Virtual Jaguar, 2.02, but it won't even run the Rayman BETA Demo and it runs the prototype and final game at an extremely slow pace. my PC is a Windows 7 and is pretty fast, but again it's a laptop so does that make any difference? Also does 2.02 have gamepad support I didn't see any.

Re: Rayman 1
Aren't emulators usually really processor-dependant? Laptops don't have the greatest processors around, unless yours happens to be one of those next-gen computer gaming laptops like the ones from Alienware. So even if your machine is fast, it would probably run a lot better on a regular desktop computer.
