Re: Rayman Legends
They release games in the US on Mondays now? Always thought it was Sundays unless it was anything SUPER special... idk, this could be subject to change like the release date for Origins 3DS did over there.
Re: Rayman Legends
31th December? Sounds suspect to me, I hardly believe it is a real date knowing that Wii U's release is somewhere in November.

Re: Rayman Legends
Indeed. It's pretty suspicious, mainly because the rest of the wii U games have the exact same release date, December 31. If that information is real, Nintendo, you're doing it wrong. One does not release a console after Christmas, that's stupid.

Re: Rayman Legends
The people on that site probably don't know the actual release date, but they know that the Wii U will be out this year. I bet they're assuming that it'll be out on December 31st at the latest.
Re: Rayman Legends
If Rayman Legends did have DLC along with content that actually pertains to the game, I would also like pointless DLC just for laughs like a "Get in shape with Globox" minigame.

Re: Rayman Legends
Well that's probably the best concept I've heard in the last hundred-quadrillion pages of this thread.

Re: Rayman Legends
I wonder if there'll be times when you can just go up to an enemy to inspect it, like in Rayman 2 when the Pirates either glitch out or are just awaiting your next move and you can walk up to them and take a closer look at how they were made art-wise.

Re: Rayman Legends
I heard price on Amazon always drops significantly till the release date. At least, with albums. Still, I don't know if it's a wise move to release a game on New Year's Eve...
Re: Rayman Legends
I can't see this game being released in December - that's way to early (unless they've been working on it longer then we realise, although from the development of Origins I can't see that). I'm not going to take that date for gospel....at least for now anyway...
Re: Rayman Legends
I believe these are called 'placeholder dates'.

Re: Rayman Legends
December is too late for me, considering that the game was confirmed to be released the same date as Wii U. I understand your point, tho, Rayman origins was released last year on november, but it was kinda short u_uElectoon wrote:I can't see this game being released in December - that's way to early (unless they've been working on it longer then we realise, although from the development of Origins I can't see that). I just don't like to see games being hurried to release - it usually doesn't end well for the game

The people who posted those dates know that the game will be out this year, so logically, December 31st at the latest.
Re: Rayman Legends
True, they probably put the 31st of December because Ubisoft said 'this year', so it makes sense as that is the latest it can possibly be according to that logic. I still don't see it being realised this year though (or maybe I'm just hoping

Watch 2:14 and follwing. Is there something said about an online challenge mode?
That would be great if this is not cut

December 31st? Way too late for the game to come. I want it to be released in November

Re: Rayman Legends
It's quiet... too quiet.
Check this, the Irate Gamer (that guy who copied the Angry Videogame Nerd) is having an interview with a developer, he asked some questions that no one has tried to ask before, like if the game can be played in single player without murphy, or if the toys are still going to be part of the game:

Re: Rayman Legends
For lazy people, they say that the game is still only being produced for Wii U at this stage of production, that you will be able to use the mic in the Wii U touch pad to activate some elements and, about the toys, that what we have seen isn't final but that we'll see something in the game.
