Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Oh isn't that the infamous "bonus level" that everyone on the Ubi forums kept whinging about? I haven't played it much since I actually bought it and even then I didn't get the full 1,000 on every level, so who knows.

I wanted to ask something: Which platform for Raving Rabbids is the best of the others? I have the PS2 version.

Obviously the Wii version.Rayman502 wrote:I wanted to ask something: Which platform for Raving Rabbids is the best of the others? I have the PS2 version.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I own the Wii and PS2 versions (plus GBA, DS and Symbian).
Its definitely better the Wii version, although some minigames in PS2 get easier than in Wii and vice-versa.

You mean the PS2 is better than the Wii version? How? To me, most of the fun came from the great motion controls.Haruka wrote:I own the Wii and PS2 versions (plus GBA, DS and Symbian).

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Does someone have Rabbids 3D? I was wondering if I should buy that game. Out of curiousity because I have no money.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Where did I say that? I'm telling that the Wii version is better, but I only point the fact that some minigames are easier to beat/play in PS2 than in Wii, and vice-versa.RayFan9876 wrote:You mean the PS2 is better than the Wii version? You just worded it weirdly so I got confused.Haruka wrote:Its definitely better than the Wii version, although some minigames in PS2 get easier than in Wii and vice-versa.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Sorry if it was written in a confusing way.
To be more simple: The Wii version is better.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
*Bump*
So, I went shopping today and between some random stuff, I bought the following goodies:

A French wallet of the Rabbids. It was at 2€, as a promotion/sales price. (It is a pun of "Don't look" [Ne regardez pas]
!)

A small wrestling PVC figure of a Rabbid. It was in promotion in the FNAC shop I went. It was at 6€ instead of the normal 10€ (lets say, 9,99€. And I actually didn't buy it, Clara decided to offer me it X3).
And look what I found! 83

The comic book by Thitaume-Pujol! You guys might remind the French trailer that was uploaded in YouTube in the Rabbids channel. I read it, it has got nearly 50 pages but it is fun to read, it has got few French text so it is perfect
If you guys want I can later photograph the pages and upload them in a private Photobucket gallery, password protected. This comic book cost approximately 10€. And by the way, this detail is priceless (No pun intended)
:

(The girl at FNAC had to scan his butt
!)
Other merchandising I saw from the Rabbids were small Jamaican Rabbid plushies, an Eeerz (50€ by the way. That thing is big!), a holidays activity book of the Rabbids (all in French, it was at 7,50€) and some small Rabbid figures in another shop. As you can understand I couldn't photograph the stuff inside a shop. To finish, I also saw a pack of a 4GB Xbox 360 including the Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking for 200€. I think it included the Kinect peripheral.
This Thursday I'm going to eat at Quick, a french fast-food restaurant, and they are giving away Rabbid glasses. I learnt they are also giving small figures in their "Happy Meal" but sadly it is restricted until a certain age the buying.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Waaaaaant...
The "wrestler" Rabbid vinyl is actually a gladiator of a sort, I have the whole set and they've been fairly cheap over here compared to how much the first set was. Other than the plushes in the claw machines I haven't seen anything new in any of the game shops or places like HMV here...
So wait...in France you can't order a happy meal without having a kid with you? Wow uh...you can over here...my mother had done... only because she'd just eat something small when she'd be out... oh well, we'll see if these pop up on eBay, British tourists are bound to get some if their kids are tagging along...

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
In Portugal you can also ask a Happy Meal without requiring having a kid with you. I admit that few months ago I asked a Happy Meal in purpose because they were doing for the first time a promo of Pokémon toys plus a Trading Card Game card. (Why they never did this before?Cairnie wrote:Waaaaaant...

Well, I guess French people take it badly and would look you wierdly if you ask a "Happy Meal". Cultures... oo *Shrug*
I personally think that people shouldn't forbid consumers to ask a certain product. I've seen before in Portugal adults asking for a Happy Meal because they didn't want to eat a lot or are in rush to eat.
Well, I can try anyway, but I'll take my sunglasses with me.

*Bump again*
I've uploaded the pages, I hope it is readable. Photobucket also messed up the pages order, I'm sorry. ^W^'

EDIT: Clara just found out a cameo of Rayman in the comic book! In the yellow pages there is a Rabbid that wears a t-shirt with Rayman's head, similar to the R2 model.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
This Rabbid merchandise makes me sick.
When it comes to merchandise Ubi thinks only the Rabbids
. Seriously, why not any Rayman merchandise? A big Globox plush for example. Some collectable figurines of BG&E Jade, Pey J and Double H also would be great.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
I personally think it is humanly impossible to get 1000 in everything. I think you only beat up the game 100% when you unlock all the bonus cinematics, something I still didn't even manage to do so.Rayman502 wrote:Does anyone ever recieved all 1,000 points on all the Raving Rabbids challanges?
I think Ubisoft doesn't only do more Rayman stuff because of the limbless factor. Do you think I wouldn't like to exist Rayman merchandising? I think I would take everything in the FNAC shop I went.Mammothphant 2 wrote:This Rabbid merchandise makes me sick.

It reminds me that the balcon of assistance in the gaming section was covered with Rayman Origins stickers. In the gaming shelves, the Rayman Origins game had the seal of "Coup de Coeur" (kind of a game that touched the heart of players, we can say it is a recommendation seal).
I also saw the 3DS version in there, but the price is equal to Portugal.

Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Rayman is limbless and its true its hard to make merch of a limbless character, but Rayman could be attached into something like he is in the old Rayman merchandise (plum, shell etc) and if thats too difficult then why not plushes or collectables from the other characters, like Globox and Grand Minimus? That would be better than nothing. I would like a big Carmen plush.Haruka wrote:I personally think it is humanly impossible to get 1000 in everything. That Coup de Coeur would fit Rayman 2/Revolution better. From the Rayman games Origins was more fun than heart warming, while Rayman 2 had a lot of heart warming scenes. RO was heart warming too of course but not much when we count the whole Rayman series.
Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
Hey, we are in 2012, not in 2001. If you see RR being sold, only in a vintage store or in the used games section.
Why don't you ask to Ubisoft instead of me why there isn't more Rayman merchandising? Maybe they'll listen to you.
Of course, if there were goodies of Rayman I would buy those.

Are you gonna start a walkthrough of RRR DS? Just asking.
