True.
But that depends on the version of Rayman 1 you're talking about here.

Now, now, now, no need to flaunt your extravagant gaming skills.

@Rayfan I was 11 years old at the time, and I was playing the PC version (where I think some cages are placed in really well hidden zones and more difficult to find than in PS1).

I've always been playing Rayman Advance and since the DSi, that version. I did play a few worlds on the PC version, but the GoG game sucks and It's a lot easier to just open up my DS rather then going trough a whole process to play the PC game with music glitches (Yes, every time you beat a part of the level the music restarts... not to mention that if you don't put in the right soundtrack, it plays incorrect music, meaning Cave of Skops in the Dream Forest.). I have played Brain Games though. I was surprised to see that the game is rather pixelated compared to the portable versions, but then again, I never played any PSX games until late 2011. Somehow I thought it was a lot better then the N64.

I'm still waiting for the damn eShop cards to appear in Portugal. Even when I went shopping a few days ago here in France, I didn't find them. I don't have credit card so I have no choice other than waiting for the eShop cards before I get able to buy Rayman DSi (and perhaps the GBC Virtual Console port of the same game). I only have to complain about the price: 8€? I know the game is good and a classical, but we're talking about a game with more than 15 years and findable for 5€ in PSN.

Well, I believe it is possible to clear Rayman 2 without dying more than 3 times, but that would require a mastery in controlling Rayman and knowing every single obstacle of the game.

I at last found the cards in a pharmacy in the USA... strangely enough they don't sell them at my local game store. The game cost me 16$ actually. Nintendo ripped me off and made me buy all my DSi Shop games again even though they stated it was free.

When you say dying, do you mean getting a Try Again? or Just getting hit?

@Master

I mean Rayman having a death animation and having to revive.
