The idea of bringing the co-op even further in Origins, absolutely makes me happy, this will be the best multiplayer fighting experience since New super mario bros screaming at out friends. Even though Origins probably already caused this at is, at least we can revive each other.

Eh, nobody ever wants to play Origins because nobody around me seems to have heard of anything possibly related to Rayman that doesn't include Rabbids. I personally hope that Legends will improve on slower gameplay. I enjoy the exact jumping and speed running from RO, but when it comes to 2D Rayman I think I'd rather have Rayman 1 or Rayman 3 GBA gameplay. It allows you to observe details much more and brings what you see from the artwork alive much more.

I agree that RO has got a too much linear gameplay. I mean, it doesn't incentive exploration and creates some kind of invisible pressure in arriving quickly to the end of the level and rushing everything. They could have added a secret prize or something for collecting all the Lums Medals too. The level design is done also in a way that it is too easy to find the cages and the Skull Coins: just find for something anormal in the map and boom, there you have it.

They kind of got it backwards in a way - Origins is one of the most graphically detailed games to date by far, so you would thing that they'd emphasise that? Nope, apparently not, they actually chose the method of gameplay that is the furthest thing possible from bringing out the environment. Here and there it's so detailed that I actually get distracted and can't focus.

Though that's mostly with the first four environments. The latter three (Mystical Pique, Moody Clouds and LoTLD) are basically perfect. Actually I could still point out that there's too much pointless detail in Mystical Pique and LoTLD. Moody Clouds almost seems like it was done by completely different artists, and it has that very "Mega Man" look to it, which I like very much.

Speaking of which anyone notice the castles besides the obvious one in the first level?

I read somewhere that Rayman Legends will have a better pace then Origins.

Mystical Pique was actually my favourite world due to the moments when you're inside the caves, where the pace tends to slow down a bit and gives a calmer atmosphere.

My favourite is Moody Clouds, sure, speedrunning it is an absolute nightmare, but it is just a marvellous sight to behold and rather fun if being played at an average pace.

I haven't tried it, but I know the wall jumping trick used to get it.

What you said was "Yeah, I agree! I love those overly detailed environments!" When what I said was "Uuuugh, there's so much detail it's distracting, considering it's a speed game."

"Yeah, I agree!" with the above sentence. "I love those overly detailed environments!" (my opinion). Let it go.
