Rayman 2 DC Emulator?

Hey guys, first of all, new to the site. Love rayman so so so much, although i never played the original 2D platformer I have wasted countless hours of my childhood playing through rayman 2 and 3.

Anyways, I have a Rayman 2: The Great Escape rom and I have Chankast, demul, and nulldc 1.0.4 and 1.6 and NONE of them recognize ray2 as a game disk. (Just keeps going to the play music section...) I've tried loading from image and mounting via daemon tools on all of them

I'm running Windows 7 64bit with an i7 processor (newest gen) nvidia geforce graphics card and 8gb of RAM. I can't really get any other roms right now (ps2 gc or even pc version) as the download sites i go to take hours to download (on a 1.5 mb/s conn) and get cancelled before they even finish. I managed to wait the one i have out and it didn't cancel so i'm guessing nothing wrong with the rom (although I may be mistaken...)

Am I missing something? is there an extra step i need to take or is it just not going to work on my machine?

You could have written this topic in the Rayman forums, so I'm moving this to there.

It happens that to emulate the game in a Dreamcast emulator, you need a cracked ROM of the game. Sadly, I can't remind where I downloaded mine, but there is an emulation topic that will gradually be updated with instructions and links for downloading necessary files.

I can suggest you to look for the ROM in SNESoRAMA and Emuparadise.

Concerning the emulator, I guess if you check their official website of development, you'll have the instructions and links.

and I'm pretty sure i downloaded the rom from emuparadise... the speed is ridiculous... I remember when you could download anything at full speed! wtf happened!!

But do you think you could link me the emulation thread? I'm still getting used to this forum and its kind of hard to find specifics.. I'll search but any help is much appreciated

I just double checked snesorama, it appears to be back up and running but with very few Dreamcast rips right now though it could be requested again (as well as the Japanese one for that matter!)

welp. Downloaded a new rom for r2. works. 6 FCKING HOURS. thanks though
