Whoa. I actually was stating my opinion by saying I thought it was awesome, I did think it was an awesome movie nonetheless. I had no need to tell you anything before you even watched the movie, if you don't like it, I'm fine by that, it's okay with me. I guess it's not anything I'd further reccomend though.

the movie's action was great and the humor was funny.
the game is addictive, has great music and is funny as hell if you play multiplayer.
the comics where AWESOME in every way.. is it so hard to understand that I just absolutely LOVE everything that's Scott Pilgrim?

All I'm asking for is an explanation on why you think it's so awesome. Just telling me it's awesome when I don't agree isn't going to get me anywhere. :pfff:

Sometimes I feel that spiral is the only one I can actually get an answer out of.

Why I thought it was awesome. As you would obviously know the retro references caught my eye quite well. I liked some of the parodies they sneaked in there as well. I thought it had some pretty funny bits 'n piece. The special effects on the fight scenes, though pretty unrealistic looking, were pretty fucking nice looking to me. It wasn't a perfect movie to me, but definetly quite decent, I guess not AWESOME, which I take back.

But the game was definetly awesome.

Regarding that topic, I found an atari jaguar at my vintage game store for $125, along with Rayman 1 as a bundle.
Should buy! :D

Rayfist, if you want to do a good decision in life...

BUY IT.

I'm serious! That's a golden opportunity for such bundle price!

Jaguar was a flop indeed since it claimed to be 64 bits and the console looked like a toilet seat, but really had some good games too. I'd love to have one!

It is true it was a commercial failure. When I went some months ago to "GAME ON" exposition in Lisbon, I had the opportunity to see a real Atari Jaguar by close, and to touch in the controller. It does gives the feeling you are picking and playing with a brick, except the brick is light. The ergonomy is a real failure in Jaguar, but Rayman was definitely one of the fewest good titles for it, and lets not forget that Jaguar's Rayman is the very first Rayman game to exist in the market, and its version is very rare nowadays.

Fortunately the emulator of Jaguar runs good enough to fully play Rayman on your computer. :D

Another off topic, topic, of course this is the OFF TOPIC section.

I really feel for some odd reason we should totally do an RPC meet up someday, there are many members on the site I'd love to meet in reality. :)

I'm only 2 years away from 18, though I'd like to do a visit sometime in my college years during break, but I really hope to dp an RPC meet up with some of the members. Rayfan probably being the highest one considering it never worked out this summer, I'm really dying to meet her.

Actually, there was before a first attempt of a meeting, but very few members managed to go to the meeting. It was in France by the way.

If things weren't bad to my side in financial terms, I think I could appear in the meeting.

Anyway, if any member goes to Portugal, I can try to appear to drink a soda around the capital and maybe doing a quick tour.

I think I heard about that, man the things I'd do to go. Yeah, you're definetly one of the members I'd want to meet.
Sadly, the chances of me flying out of this country are very low as of now, I'll have to wait until my college years.
