Re: Dreams about Rayman...
I once had a dream where Rayman was a complete pedophile and stared at me creepily. Then he stole my bunny plushie while singing opera. That was..?

Re: Dreams about Rayman...
I had a dream that I was with Rayman and it was Globox's birthday and we were finding a present before midnight strikes. When we returned, it was 11:59 and the Teensies and more of Rayman's friends were there.
Re: Dreams about Rayman...
Long story short, I had a dream in which I transformed into DarkRay and later participated in a tournament held in a shopping mall. Let's say I was kicking other people's asses.
I guess I want to unlock that skin very badly... I'm 35 Electoons short.
As for the stuff related with shop - I'd been having dreams where I get lost either in a/- shop(/s) or in a/- city/cities (which is/are similar and yet different from any town/s I'd been in). I have yet to find connection (and meaning) to these other dreams. They're unrelated to that single dream I wanted to write about, though in the sense that I didn't stay in that form for another dream.

Wiola, I was wondering where you were! Welcome back, I hope!
Re: Dreams about Rayman...
I also had this one, where Rayman had parents. His mother looked like Marge Simpson and his father was a haystack. They lived in a hot air balloon and never came out of there.
With dreams like this I always wonder how screwed my brain can be.

Somebody was wondering about me? How nice, I think... I'll try to be more active. And I want to announce that I'll try to do something with that dream. I'll try to create an animation based on it! I wonder how long it would take me...Rulez wrote:Wiola, I was wondering where you were! Welcome back, I hope!
Bah, sometimes dreams like these can happen. Though I must admit it, I found it hilarious!GNineify wrote:I also had this one, where Rayman had parents. His mother looked like Marge Simpson and his father was a haystack. They lived in a hot air balloon and never came out of there.

Rather don't talk about how screwed your brain is.GNineify wrote:I also had this one, where Rayman had parents. His mother looked like Marge Simpson and his father was a haystack. They lived in a hot air balloon and never came out of there.

Re: Dreams about Rayman...
Last night I had a dream that I was standing on a wooden jetty on a beach, facing the shore. Most of the beach actually consisted of a massive sand dune with some foliage on it. The jetty was connected to a slightly elevated wooden pathway that forked off into two paths- One that went down the length of the beach to my right but was blocked off for some reason, and another that was a steep set of wooden stairs up the sand dune. I let a few people pass me before following them up the stairs. As I reached the top, I saw some small wooden signs on the side of the stair rails that were facing away from me. I turned one of them around and written on it in white paint was the word 'ampee', which I recall misreading as 'amputee' in the dream. So I turned to sign back around and made it to the top of the sand hill, where the wooden path stopped at the beginning of a sand path, and continued my walk. Then suddenly something jumped out of the bushes (and I had stopped because I somehow knew it was coming) and threw a blanket over me and knocked me out simultaneously.
Then I woke (In the dream, not in real life) in the same area/island/whatever but at some other part of the beach, standing where the beach met some kind of tropical forest. I was in the middle of a tribe of raymanians (Or whatever Rayman's species is called) with little tropical huts and shelters made of bamboo and reeds all around me. In the tribe, standing with some other tribe members with an uninterested look on his face, was a younger version of Tarayzan. Someone in the tribe said 'Welcome!' to me, and then the dream ended about there.
The funny thing is, I did not actually see anyone in this dream except Tarayzan. It was like I knew they were all there, my mind was perceiving them, but I could not visually comprehend them, although I do vaguely recall them looking like blurry black wisps of foggy smoke-like substance, but in the dream I didn't really 'notice' it.

Re: Dreams about Rayman...
So this is the reason you've been posting comments on Rayman stuff at Deviantart again! Only joking
! I get it a lot in my dreams where there are clearly meant to be lots of people, but my brain can't render them due to lack of sleep imagination. Either that or it renders them as resembling people or characters I already know. What's amazing though is when you get dreams where it does create characters that don't exist (either in fiction or real life) in detail, I usually end up putting pen to paper as soon as I wake up when that happens!
Also dreams within dreams, I get that a lot too

Re: Dreams about Rayman...
My dreams have a strange habit of running like stories, and I guess that says something about the way my brain works
. My brain signals itself to wake up uncomfortably if a dream has no plot and is just flashing images, and if there is a plot-hole in a story, it will often try to correct itself. I once had a dream where one of the main characters went missing because my mind obviously momentarily forgot about them. However, the dream then fixed this by making the missing character part of the plot line. I'll often suddenly wake up from a dream because a character fixes a plothole by proclaiming that it makes no sense because it's just a dream - I guess my mind disapproves of forth-wall breaking
!
Yes, I am weird.

I swear I've had multiple dreams take place in the same location, and it's not even a place I know in real life.

It is the imaginary world as seen only by your inner mind's eye. This is where ideas come from, where the stuff that dreams are made of comes from. Welcome to the real world.THEdragon wrote:I swear I've had multiple dreams take place in the same location, and it's not even a place I know in real life.
I once dreamt up an area that I'll end up using in my Rayman game. It was awesome and it is probably one of the more creative spins my game might take.
Re: Dreams about Rayman...
I had a dream with Rayman only once.
Plot was quite plain and idiotic - I was a Rayman himself and was trying to catch treasure chest from Rayman Origins. -_- But actually, dream was funny and felt realistic.

And last night's dream...

Is he plotting a revenge against Psychonauts for being my favourite game or something? And why the fuck did the dream have to make Raz so retarded?
