They're probably sick of me replying to them about the whole "Ly on the back cover but not in the actual game" thing ROFLReiska wrote:They are asking in Twitter what was thought about Rayman M, so it's possible to have another that kind of game in some point of future. But in the RL trailer there was online racing, so could it refer to it?
However that doesn't prove anything, I know.

Re: Rayman Legends
Re-releases without substantial graphical improvements are obviously problematic, but being able to play them is clearly preferable to being unable to play the game at all. I don't want 'new gameplay experiences' from Rayman 2.sergiomonty wrote:oh, yeah, and forget about graphic improvement and new gameplay experiences, that would ruin the retro experience.
sergiomonty wrote:Yeah, they should release Rayman 2 again for Wii U, Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 as a full retail title, with the same price as the most recent games and everything from the original game that you liked and loved,
You don't have to buy every single version, you ninny. Complaining about a game being made available on too many platforms is utterly stupid.sergiomonty wrote:It's a popular game, so it deserves to appear on every single console. Yeah, that's absolutely not slutty.

I believe you mean Rayman 3, and in honesty, the graphical improvements aren't that significant in that game.Hoodlum1 wrote:I was thinking more on the terms of and xbox/ps3 version like they did for Rayman 3DElectoon wrote:Hoodlum1 wrote:Or an updated Rayman 2!!!

Re: Rayman Legends
I would love to see a really nice graphical overhaul for Rayman 2 if it were to appear on a new console. t may have been beautiful back then and still is today, but think of the possibilities with something as crazy as DX11 on your side.
Re: Rayman Legends
I actually wouldn't mind to see a HD version of Rayman 1, but not in RO style.
Concerning a HD RR... If it is to end up like the latest Rayman 2 ports then I prefer to the game stay in PS2.

I know what i meant actually and i wasnt talking about the graphics just the fact that it was for xbox/ps3 consolesMaster4lyf1 wrote:I believe you mean Rayman 3, and in honesty, the graphical improvements aren't that significant in that game.Hoodlum1 wrote:I was thinking more on the terms of and xbox/ps3 version like they did for Rayman 3D
Re: Rayman Legends
Regarding HD remakes of Rayman games, a Rayman 1 HD with enhanced visuals and music would be great, but how do HD remakes compare to the original in most cases? I don't own a HD console because the Xbox 360/PS3 just doesn't have a very big library of games that aren't first-person shooters or gore-fests, so in terms of current-gen systems the Wii will have to do.

Why not? Rayman Origins' style is pretty smooth...Haruka wrote:I actually wouldn't mind to see a HD version of Rayman 1, but not in RO style.
Confession time...I never really liked Rayman 1's artstyle... The animation was excellent for the era, but I think it had a supersaturated colour palette and cheesy character design (I don't like Rayman's eggshaped eyes, for example)
Don't kill me, people.

Welcome to the club! I can't exactly say that I like Rayman's original style either. Like I said sometime earlier, you could almost disassemble his face like a Mr. Potatohead.sergiomonty wrote:Why not? Re: Rayman Legends
Beh, I liked Rayman 1's style because it was very well blended, simple, and the colours were very well put together (and of course it's opinion whether you like them or not).
Origins' just seemed lacklustre.

Re: Rayman Legends
I did like the environment of Rayman 1. The characters, not so much.
Re: Rayman Legends
Same opinion in here. It is my least favourite design of Rayman himself. I think that the remodeling they did for him in Rayman 2 turned out the perfect design for the character, the retouches needed. This is me saying because even today I still prefer the R2 design of the character. I got very annoyed at the time of R3 development when Ubisoft revealed the second redesign of Rayman himself, that I found really unneccessary (they admited in an interview they redesigned him in purpose "to look less good and more like a fighter" to please the "kids of the time"). Nowadays I can live with the R3 design, but I don't change my opinion concerning what's the best Rayman design.Spanex wrote:Welcome to the club! Re: Rayman Legends
The redesign with the hair attached to the hair was weird... and it became even weirder during the raving rabbids series, when Rayman's head turned red, with exception

dafuq's with his head?
If you notice, Rayman was redesigned again for Rayman Origins, with Rayman's hair finally looking like hair again instead of ears (though it doesn't look like that weird 70's haircut from Rayman 1) and traditional cartoon-like shoes, not like those Sonic-wannabe shoes from Rayman 3.

Re: Rayman Legends
Rayman 3 design was my favourite, personally.
Rayman 1 needs a HD remake. Picture City on the PSX is already godly, so one can only imagine a such a graphical update.

Re: Rayman Legends
Rayman Origins Was A good Game when it comes to the platforming/ gameplay. But i dint like how they turned the Moskitos with the limbs, And the Magican Turned to A teensie.
And The Story, Well i think the story was very weak. q
I liked the art style, but The Rayman 1,2 and 3 was the best in art style in my eyes.
And when I read the wiki here, When They Had A Game, Rayman 4, A 3D game, where there is Band Land and other locations from the original game. And Dark Raymans Lair and stuff. It make me Sad that they Cancelled it, It looked like a good game
