Re: Rayman Origins
Ever seen the episode of The Weekenders where Tish got a B? That's this in a nutshell.
Re: Rayman Origins
I have a question. Should a character you control respawn only at the beginning of the section it got bubblized in, no matter where exactly it happened in said section? (I'm not taking Time Attacks in account, I'm only asking about the regular playthroughs of levels)
If so, I found a section of a level, where it doesn't. It's the very first section of Dragon Soup. After a certain point (a yellow sponge), a character is being respawned on a sponge instead of the beginning of that level. In this video, that sponge (or is it cheese?) is at 1:07. So far, this has happened while I was playing as DarkRay.
Either programmers had forgotten to remove that respawn point or the game is being nice to me (I 'killed' the character on purpose but I didn't know about that before).

When there's a long section, there's another checkpoint in the middle or so.

Re: Rayman Origins
Also, if you've been to an electoon segment, once completed, you will respawn at it's entrance whenever you die.
Re: Rayman Origins
Well, I didn't take an Electoon section into account when I was asking. My bad. Still, I found that respawn point placement odd. Besides, it's never happened to me (I mean, respawning somewhere else than the beginning of any section or somewhere else if I [un]succesfully tried to get through an Electoon cage-related section). That's why I thought it could be something developers/programmers might've forgotten about.

Just got the 8th Skull Key. I almost ran past the chest at the end though.

Great job. The Moody Clouds is the hardest one of them all.

He got the eighth, which would be Ice-Fishing Folly.Rayman502 wrote:Great job. The Moody Clouds is the hardest one of them all.

Yes, unless she is leaving the teeth as a last task of the game and playing them in an arbitrary order.
And I don't think the Moody Clouds one is the hardest of all, by the contrary: it is one of the easiest.
The hardest is the Angsty Abyss one without any doubt.

That's not a tough job, contrary to the 6th, 8th and 9th chest.Rayman502 wrote:Great job. The Moody Clouds is the hardest one of them all.

Totally agreed I hate that one due to the fact that there was so much going on at once, jellyfish everywhere, the water carries you, spikes everywhere, it was just a living hellHaruka wrote:Yes, unless she is leaving the teeth as a last task of the game and playing them in an arbitrary order.

I didn't assume Yoshi just completed the Moody Clouds challange. I was just giving news that Moody Clouds in my opinion is the hardest.Master4lyf1 wrote:She got the eighth, which would be Ice-Fishing Folly.Rayman502 wrote:Great job. The Moody Clouds is the hardest one of them all.

I've been doing that alot lately.
While Tricky Temple Too is rather, well, tricky, some of the other treasure chest chases, particularly Ice-Fishing Folly for me, were downright sadistic.

Re: Rayman Origins
Oh great thing to look forward then. Still all the Tricky Treasures are easy compared to the Magican chase in Moody Clouds. ARRRGH!
I'm terribly sorry, Yoshidude, my mind isn't in an optimal condition.

Welp, only Land of Livid Dead is remaining to be beaten. I was so close to actually beating that level yesterday... I have to get around the flames... Which are still invisible...

True, that one is absolutely ridiculously hard. It's probably been the most frustrating moment in the game for me. I guess the Land of the Livid Dead would be if it weren't for the epic music keeping me happy (and sane).Haruka wrote:The hardest is the Angsty Abyss one without any doubt.
