Re: What games are you currently playing?
Interesting, I should give that a try.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I think once I got recommended with that game, I wonder if I would enjoy.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Oh ROFL MediEvil, that was created by the same person who created the James Pond games IIRC...
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Even if that is true, MediEvil is a far superior game!! I couldn't get into James Pond personally, the first few levels were like one bad acid trip involving childrens toys and candy D:Cairnie wrote:Oh ROFL MediEvil, that was created by the same person who created the James Pond games IIRC...
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Now, if I'm unable to play "Donald Duck (...)" for PC (for various reasons), I'll be playing "Bakugan Battle Brawlers" for PS2. If only the latter wasn't freezing on me, it would be perfect...
At first I wanted the game for PS2 to be "Ratchet: Gladiator" but it turned out the disc couldn't be read (because apparently a layer of the data-holding part was removed, so that there wouldn't be any scratches, and after that there's 90% chance of such disc to be working again).

Good suggestion, Spiral. I listened to some of the soundtrack - the music's amazing. Seriously, I think I would play it just to listen to that; the game itself is an added bonus.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I also recommend for example people that like Rayman 1 to try out Captain Claw and/or Oddworld's first two games (but especially the second), it is also a 2D Side-Scrolling Platformer.
People that like Rayman 2: The Great Escape could also try out Croc: Legend of the Gobbos but if you are for the PS1 version, be very cautious about the controls but you avoid that if you play the PC version.

Wow, "Donald Duck(...)"'s last boss is way too similar to Foutch...
I happened to minimize that game. Knowing what would happen in R2TGE, I was afraid that some of the progress I made would be lost, so I was surprised by the fact "Donald Duck (...)" worked after restoring to a full-screen...
I agree with Haruka about Croc: The legend of Gobbos. That game gives off that Rayman 2 vibe. It also reminded me of "Kao the kangaroo" and Sonic games (thanks to the way Croc loses his diamonds, which can be gathered again). I also consider that game to be the most minimalist game (in terms of requirements).

Oh, really? How? That's been bugging me for a long time.Wiiola wrote:I'm glad they fixed whatever was causing another game (R2TGE) to crash upon attempting to restore it from being previously minimized.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Hell yeah, Psychonauts is installing... eeeeeeeextreeeeeemeeeeelyyyyyyyyy slooooooooow..!
Let's just hope this not-really-good-for-games laptop can run it at least decently after all this waiting.

Now that I read my quoted sentence, I think it's misleading. If it is, then tell me.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Finished RO yesterday (I have about 30 electoons left to get though), and now HL² ep 2, which I barely started two months ago just before bricking my Windows.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I forgot to mention I've finished RO just today!
I have 7 electoons and loads of Lum medals and Trophies to obtain in order to beat that game 100%. I don't think it's ever going to happen. At least when trying to play on my current computer.
Now for one of hundreds of PC games I can choose from and/or "Bakugan: Battle Brawlers" to beat next. The latter option sounds more appealing, since I've already made some progress in that game.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Ahah, yes. It was quite misleading. I hope so much that there can be a workaround made for the minimizing issue. Maybe launching it through some external programme? Maybe coding a different executable?Wiiola wrote:I don't know. I just happened to minimize that game. I hope Psychonauts 2 will come! Psychonauts cries for a sequel as much as Beyond Good and Evil. Lets hope Tim Schafer will find a publisher.
