That said, sushi for breakfast is certainly confusing. I actually expected some kind of lunch of yours.
Also! Nobody said you have to have your dinner during evening. In fact, when Polish children are taught English, you often call their mid-day meal dinner, because that's the largest dish traditionally in Poland.

In France we are used to say dinner for the evening, because it's our traditional largest dishstan423321 wrote:That said, sushi for breakfast is certainly confusing. I actually expected some kind of lunch of yours.

Apparently, that's what usually happens in English-speaking world. To make the things weirder, all diet doctors in Poland recommend everybody to make the morning meal the biggest. What they mean is to split all the other meals, but because nobody would consider this due to time issues, and because Polish cuisine runs on very specific timing of dishes, the effects of people's imagination are hilarious.

The mid-day 'dinner' in English would be called 'tea' or maybe 'supper', but usually that's the one in the evening. The dinner is most definately the one around six or seven o' clock, or at whatever other time you eat yours.stan423321 wrote:Also! Nobody said you have to have your dinner during evening. Ahah it's fun when things get misinterpreted.stan423321 wrote:What they mean is to split all the other meals, but because nobody would consider this due to time issues, and because Polish cuisine runs on very specific timing of dishes, the effects of people's imagination are hilarious.

Our megameal is really early. As in, 1:00 to 3:00 P.M., although in some schools it's as early as 11:30 A.M.. And our teachers tell us all the time our evening dish, if small enough, is supper, so your interpretation of this word is very different.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
If u are still studying u can come in Europe with the Erasmus program for foreign students (at least 6 months, many times 1 year and u can stay more for a double diploma...).schmooky.luke wrote:I don't live in Europe either but I would like to visit.

The funny thing is that this was planned to be done a year ago.

Now we get to wonder: did the interview never even take place, or did it reveal such classified gems that it couldn't possibly be released to the public?
