No, MLII had trouble with them at some point. They startled me at times, but only because they could come out of nowhere with a loud hiss and then hit you in the back, not because I thought they were frightening. Also: Chenilles.

I was scared by those creepy Caterpillars too when I was young.
I was 6 when I first saw that.
Their behaviour is different in the PS1 version (my first), and if you happen to get too close to them...you would be dinner.

I never knew about it until a year ago, when I, while replaying R2, happened to become stuck between two Mini Janoes and they decided to have a little game of Rayman Tennis with my body before one decided it was dinner time.

Oh yea, Chenilles! When I saw them for the first time I was like "OMG what is that oh no run run run! NOOOOOOOOO!" *Dead* Something like that. Plus they always attacked me when I was carrying the magic shperes.
