I think the grandfather clock in Temporal Palace should ring the Rayman 2 theme every once in a while. Just as a fun little easter egg.

Yes, but R3fan2 said he wanted to request a music track, but he hasn't given any details yet. I want to include it in the upcomming soundtrack part if possible.

About music requests (although this was not really a request): did you end up doing anything with the Picture City-sounding Wuze Town Suite I once showed you?
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
This music would suit well to Picture City, I enjoyed it. Or to Windmill Hills (in the morning).Decidetto wrote:About music requests (although this was not really a request): did you end up doing anything with the Picture City-sounding Wuze Town Suite I once showed you?

Well, it wouldn't suit well to the images and videos I've seen about Picture City but if I remember there is some happy part in this world.Decidetto wrote: Heehee, I'm glad to hear that
(Off-topic : Deci, did you try to improve your R3 score

No, I haven't yet, but I will when I get my GOOD computer back. I love you for remembering me saying that thoughsaerleiya wrote:(Off-topic : Deci, did you try to improve your R3 score?)
I did install Rayman M (with some problems, seeing how this laptop has Windows Vista) and that game does run okay on this crappy laptop, (though Flame Tongues still lag the game out!!) so I'm currently enjoying the awesome music
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
How lucky you are. Rayman games before the third one doesn't run under W7 if you don't buy them updated for this OS (like on gog.com), or if u don't use them on an emulator (I was talking about PC Games, for others go emulators ftw...). Didn't know that they could work under WV...Decidetto wrote: I did install Rayman M (with some problems, seeing how this laptop has Windows Vista) and that game does run okay on this crappy laptop, (though Flame Tongues still lag the game out!!) so I'm currently enjoying the awesome music.

The game does not start using the desktop icon though. Sillily enough, it does start if I just click the exe in the Rayman M folder.saerleiya wrote:How lucky you are. Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
so create a shortcut from the .exe in the folder it would be easier not to go each time you want to play RM in that folder...Decidetto wrote:The game does not start using the desktop icon though. Sillily enough, it does start if I just click the exe in the Rayman M folder.

EDIT:
And this shortcut actually WORKS! Real consistent, Ubisoft

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
Pretty jazzy, I'm just trying to create a track or two more for the Shadow Factory before I upload the next part... and maybe R3fan2's request.
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
Sounds good. How is going to be the Shadow Factory ? (when I'm trying to visualize it I see a shadow of a factory, dark corridors with machine sounds and cells with screams coming out of them...).

Haha, you're almost spot-on with that thought.saerleiya wrote:Sounds good. How is going to be the Shadow Factory ? (when I'm trying to visualize it I see a shadow of a factory, dark corridors with machine sounds and cells with screams coming out of them...).
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
The problem with the request is that I don't know how to present the idea. I had created the whole track in my head but I don't know how to get someone else to hear it. What I can say is that the main melody was a slower altered version of 0:47-0:54 of the Rayman legends leaked trailer and that it also had the piano (or at least I think it was a piano) melody from H5N1. That's really all I can do unless I do find a way to present it.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
Just describe it anyway you want. I don't mind if it's totally obscure and makes no sense, I might be able to go off of something at least.R3fan2 wrote:The problem with the request is that I don't know how to present the idea. If you can, that is. I'm just really interested to see what you've got.
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
Sorry I didn't get to finish the edit before you posted. Is there a music creating program you would recommend so I could at leas show you the theme. It probably won't have the same instruments as it does in my head but it might give you an idea of what it would sound like.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
As long as the game has some rock music in it I'm satisfied. My fav music genre by far.
If this means if I'm going to start listening to more Muse albums and all, it depends. Do they have more albums that don't sound as dark as Origin of Symmetry? I didn't like that album. I'm still more fond of Green Day's style.RayFan9876 wrote:Innit? :')

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark [STRESSTEST DOWNLOAD]
Someting simple like MODPlugTracker works fine if you get used to its different way of writing down notes and instruments (in a list as opposed to in bars of music staffs). It will be MIDI, but you can at least put to music what you have in your head.R3fan2 wrote:Sorry I didn't get to finish the edit before you posted. EDIT:
@TeensieKing: I like the Resistance, but it all depends on what music you like best.
