Re: Rayman Origins
Today I had an odd bug with Jungle Run.
I found a scull coin and just when I was receiving the lums from it, I tapped the restart button. Then I had extra 8 lums from the start and they stayed for the whole level.
When I got 100 lums there was still lums left on the level, but they didn't appear on the counter. I even missed a couple of the actual lums, but I still had 100% from that level.
I tried to replay it and succeed on it, but when I hit "Go", they always disappeared (except the firtst time, of course).
Weird. Btw, I'm using the iPhone version.

Re: Rayman Origins
Check this out:
Ubisoft on the importance of the '3 Cs' when creating Rayman Origins
At Ubisoft, the 3 "Cs" of a game (Camera, Character, and Controls) are the most important thing to define and maintain because they are what defines the player's experience throughout the entire game.
When the control of the main character feels wrong, when the camera just doesn't cut it, or when the character animations don't provide good feedback to player inputs and in-game actions, the overall experience of the game world feels awful, even if the level design is outstanding. - designer Chris McEntee

Yeah, I actually saw that a few hours ago, I didn't think to post it though. Here's the full article: http://gamasutra.com/view/news/178795/R ... HVG1U3A-So
Re: Rayman Origins
It reminds me the 5S for production, safety and efficiency in the domain of industry. So relevant...

Re: Rayman Origins
To that one who said that Rayman Origins' music is not "memorable"....fuck you. I haven't played the game or heard the soundtrack for like 5 months and I still have Lums singing in my head (and no, I haven't played Jungle Run yet). IT JUST GOT STUCK... HALP!

Re: Rayman Origins
Hell yes the Origins music is memorable. Anything with a motif repeated as many times as Rayman 2's was is, by the fourth law of thermoraynamics, memorable.
Re: Rayman Origins
Hahaha the song of Lums made my roommates so crazy that in 30 minutes they told me to cut the sound of the game ^^. It also made me really crazy (well I'm often acting crazy IRLsergiomonty wrote:To that one who said that Rayman Origins' music is not "memorable"....fuck you. As for bugs, in one of the fourth world's levels i could jump above the goal flag and fly away.

Btw did you kow if you jump in level 1-4 instead of going down for the lums, you can finish the level with no lums?
Re: Rayman Origins
I didn't have that glitch. And yeah, there was a level that was possible to finish it with zero Lums by jumping in the very beggining.
Re: Rayman Origins
dafuq i wanted to edit my post, not to post another comment.
anyway, that was 1-4.
