No, you will be called Bolecaesar!Shrooblord wrote:Yes, that is my preferred nickname on the web. Aww, thank you, everybody! I'm glad that big introduction haven't scared you. XD
Yeah, agree. Users "for-one-time" are quite annoying, as I think...buildersith wrote:its nice to get to know someone as soon as they arrive, rather than just the average "Hi I'm *generic username* I'll enjoy my time here" and then never posts again.
Thank you very much!RayFan9876 wrote:I must say that your art is brilliant, especially the colours!
Well, I can say that it is short introduction... usually I'm writing much more, but this time thought that all what I've said above would be enough. :3 I'm very easy going person and like talking a lot.Decidetto wrote:Indeed, what a nice and comprehensive way of introducing yourself.
I've seen your gallery on dA once and I think that you're very talented and hope you will become cartoonist. ^^Haruka wrote:I'm also looking forward to become a cartoonist.
Thanks. ^^ However, I think I'm always making a lot of stupid mistakes... especially with tenses. -_-Master4lyf1 wrote:I have to say, your English is very good, you should be proud of that.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Um, hi. My name's Ceci, and I finally got around to joining here! Let's see... stuff about me... I joined here to post art (I'm doing a Nuzlocke comic which is a Rayman crossover and thought it'd be kinda fun to post it here even though I haven't finished enough of a buffer yet), one of my first PC gaming memories is getting stuck in Rayman and just playing the early levels over and over (play any of the Dream Forest music, I'm off to Nostalgia-ville) and also beating Rayman 2 with only a keyboard. (And with low textures, bleh!) Also I am Australian. Just warning you now.
I actually haven't finished Rayman 3 (I brought it but got distracted by Beyond Good & Evil, hahaha, and now I'm several computers past that old lump of memories!) or Origins (because my sister doesn't wanna play and we don't wanna play ahead of each other - I just went and looked up a Let's Play. but oh my god it still looks so pretty :3) And that's my RayHistory, original history do not steal.
As I said, I'm an artist, and wish to work in the videogame industry in the future. Or a webcomic! Either would be totally rad.
Other then Rayman, Pokemon is close to my heart, along with the SNES Final Fantasies and Zelda and Mario and that stuff, and Game Center CX too which is an awesome show oh man if Arino played Rayman it would be so awesome for all. I tend to make crazy alternate universes/theories, which shows in my art. I also roleplay a bit!
Also I tend to obsess over certain characters. Right now, that character for me is The Magician and so I am drawing him quite a bit. (And said Nuzlocke is starring him :p OBSESS MOAR CECI)
I might as well post some art since I've blabbed on for ages about it, so have some from said crossover bullshit. 'Right here!'
Anyway, I hope to be a part of this community for ages, because I don't hate it. I mean, I've leeched info from the wiki for long enough, I should become chummy with the forums, amirite? Probably not. Anyway glad to meet you, hope you put up with me.
Oh oh! I'm also doing art for Awesome Games Done Quick, for the Rayman Block, in case you're tuning in for that!
Now this is going on too long...
See you.
Sometime.
I guess.
Tomorrow?
It's 1 AM right now, so maybe later today?
I am off to bed.
I am saying too much.
I'm sorry for blabbing on too much.
Goodbye for now.

Oh wow, I sleep and chillax for a bit, and I have all these replies! Let me see... quote time!
And I'll be leaping in when I have a sig set up. Gotta link people to me elsewhere, after all, to lure then away from this place. Or something. I. I dunno. Gotta scare people by showing them that I'm also known as Kururu some places. It's so scaaaaary.
Hey, I'm one for following the rules - I'm surprisingly good. If not a lazy bugger. I'm too damn lazy to break the rules!

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Looks like its time to join the fun. Hi everyone, I'm James, I've been a Rayman fan since I was but a young lad. I grew up playing NES, SNES, and Genesis games, but the first console I actually owned for myself was a Playstation, and with it I got Rayman. I still remember disregarding the difficulty and loving it even though I could never get that last cage in the Blue Mountains to get to the Candy Chateau (I actually ended up finding it many years later, that was a joyous occasion), I also remember the excitement I felt when I saw Rayman 2 in a store one day, and begged me grandmum to buy it for me, that one I was actually able to beat though, and I went around yelling how I "Finally beat Razorbeard."
Rayman has always been my favorite game series (along side Banjo-Kazooie), and Rayman 2 is my favorite game of all time (tied with Banjo-Tooie). Its a real pain that both of my favorite series pretty much disappeared for long periods of time, though I'm ecstatic that Rayman has come back from the dead, and is already getting a new game after Origins. Contrary to what the general consensus on this forum seems to be (I've been lurking for a while), even though I grew up with Rayman, loved the first two games, and kind of liked the third, I found myself loving Origins (It being my third favorite Rayman game now). I love how they've tried to mend together the aesthetics of the first two games and correct the lore so everything fits, I'm even ok with the fact that a lot of stuff has been retconned. The only thing I didn't like about it was how it wasn't as re-playable as the first two, after 100%ing it I can't find a reason to want to put the disk back in.
I'm also a bit of an artist (another one in the house!), as sketching is a hobby of mine other than gaming. I'd post a link to some of my art, but I don't have anything Rayman related uploaded (my scanner has been broke for a few months now). My biggest passion in life is gaming however, and my second biggest dream is to one day become a game developer, doing concept art, storyboards and such, my third biggest dream is to have a collection of every major gaming console, the center of which would be a Pong arcade machine, if I can get one eventually! I've actually been putting off introducing myself, even though I joined last month, but now I have a bit more time (and boredom) to sit here and think of things to type about, since my PS3 died Friday night...
Anyway, I can't think of much else to say, but I live in the US, am finishing my last year of school (I had to go for an extra half year, so I get out in December!), my favorite food is ramen, I'm an absolute bum who needs a job, I love ramen, I'm not French (I've been asked if I am because of my name), I'm a lurker, my favorite genre of gaming is platformers/adventure games, and I love to eat ramen, wait, I said that already...
I hope to make some good friends here, from my lurking I've seen a few like minded individuals

And they just keep coming! Welcome, James! (Am I allowed to call you that?)
I can see you're on the same wavelength as some of us here about Origins, it's a bit of a tricky topic, but I can see where you're coming from.
But let's not go into specifics here, that's what the other topics are for!
I'm Master4lyf1, humble fellow user of this brilliantly insane community, my gimmick is to tell the new 'uns of impending enlightenment, as I do to you now.
Please, do jump in and share your ideas, thoughts and experiences with the rest of us!
