Help for PlayStation Network!
Hello. I need help for signing up for PlayStation Network. What do I need besides a 25ft Ethernet Cable to hook up to my Playstation? Do I need a computer connection? Do I need to have more than a Ethernet Cable to hook into my Playstation? Tell me please.

Re: Help for PlayStation Network!
Connecting a PS3 to the internet is like connecting a PC to the internet, if you want to connect it via Ethernet then plug in the cable to your PS3 and the other side to your modem/router.

Is this right? PS3 + Ethernet cable + Modem/router = PlayStation Network?

Hopefully, just make sure your modem/router is connected to the internet.

Master said all. Doesn't the manual of the console specifies the proceedings?
Also, my case is different. I have internet on it thanks to Wi-Fi network. It detects the router and voilà, login.

I connect via WiFi as well, but since Ray502 mentioned Ethernet, I assumed that he wanted to know how to use a wired connection.Haruka wrote:Master said all. Doesn't the manual of the console specifies the proceedings?

That is right Master. It says that it needs a Ethernet cable.Master4lyf1 wrote:I connect via WiFi as well, but since Ray502 mentioned Ethernet, I assumed that he wanted to know how to use a wired connection.Haruka wrote:Master said all. Doesn't the manual of the console specifies the proceedings?

No, I meant that when I wanted to join PlayStation Network for the first time I saw it, it said: an Ethernet Cable is not connected.Master4lyf1 wrote:So I can read and interpret posts correctly? I'm really sorry, I was in a bit of stroppy mood at the time of that post, I haven't been feeling all that good lately.Rayman502 wrote:No, I meant that when I wanted to join PlayStation Network for the first time I saw it, it said: an Ethernet Cable is not connected.Master4lyf1 wrote:So I can read and interpret posts correctly?
