Re: Rayman Legends
it doesn't look like a mario enemy in any possible way... I mean, yeah, it fits in the catalogue of "weird shit with gloves and/or shoes", but there's something in the style that I just don't like about that pseudo-rabbid. And Bowser Jr's kerchief doens't help.
Re: Rayman Legends
Wacky enemy, but he does reminds me Bowser Jr. with that neckerchief... unless it is him disguised?
Re: Rayman Legends
kinda reminds of the egg thieves from Spyro too

Re: Rayman Legends
That's obviously gonna be Bowser Jr. in a weirdo costume because he secretly wants to rape poor Mario and Luigi.
I hate how Nintendo don't seem to be able to make good new characters anymore.

Re: Rayman Legends
I saw some gameplay footage with the "Nabbit"... it's too small to be bowser Jr.

Re: Rayman Legends
Some new info:

Who missed leaderboards? The following info comes from lead game designer Emile Morel...
- 80% will be a platformer
- 20% will consist of touchscreen based levels
- these touchscreen based levels feature Murfy
- these levels are apparently optional
- will also include a leaderboard
Re: Rayman Legends
This sounded promising to me, but then I remembered it's going to be Wii-U exclusive. (right?)

Re: Rayman Legends
Well, next year Wii U is gonna have a new Smash Bros, a new Starfox developed by Retro Studios and.. uhm, oh yeah, Bayonetta 2. I think I'll enjoy a lot having a Wii USpanex wrote:This sounded promising to me, but then I remembered it's going to be Wii-U exclusive. (right?)

Re: Rayman Legends
Is there any proof to say it's Star Fox Retro are developing? Or could it be something else?sergiomonty wrote:Well, next year Wii U is gonna have a new Smash Bros, a new Starfox developed by Retro Studios and.. uhm, oh yeah, Bayonetta 2. Re: Rayman Legends
Well, in "A Brief History of Retro Studios" it says at the very end:
Also, it was confirmed that retro was going to show something during this year's e3 but they decided to pull it back because it wasn't fully polished. Everybody around GoNintendo knows that they're talking about a new starfox game, or at least a new metroid developed by retro... or both, as they recently announced that retro is getting a bigger office.“While some suggest this new project is likely to be a return to the Metroid franchise, we’d love to see another Nintendo hero get the retro stamp of excellence. After all, having rolled out the barrels for Donkey Kong, perhaps it’s time Retro pulled off a barrel roll of a different kind.”
Re: Rayman Legends
Wait is Rayman Legends still delayed until Q1 2013 because from sources it says it'll be released on December 4, 2012.
Re: Rayman Legends
Wasn't there rumors of a Starfox X metroid crossover game in the works or am I just tripping balls? Also I stumbled across what i presume to be your comments in that ECCwii rayman legends vs Mario WiiU video, that overload of mario fanboys was awful D: Apparently Rayman legends looks gritty... and your comments got marked as spam just because you give an honest opinion and also the truth... I cant wait to see both these games released and Legends thrash Mario U in Review scores, not that they entirely matter but still...sergiomonty wrote:Well, in "A Brief History of Retro Studios" it says at the very end:Also, it was confirmed that retro was going to show something during this year's e3 but they decided to pull it back because it wasn't fully polished. Re: Rayman Legends
1. Yup, these rumors appeared like one month before the E3 conference. It was confirmed that it was one of the ideas that Retro proposed to Nintendo but they didn't like it so it was cancelled. However, the doubt remains, what's the game they're working on right now?Bzzit wrote: Wasn't there rumors of a Starfox X metroid crossover game in the works or am I just tripping balls? 2. Yes, I know, Mario fanboys are lately getting worse than the Sonic fanboys that plagued the internet some years ago. I like New Super Mario Bros U, sort of, but come on, as a gamer, one must not be blind and face the defeat, Rayman Legends is virtually superior, even Rayman Origins looked better than how NSMB U looks now. It's like a Sonic fanboy saying "Come on guys, face it, Sonic Unleashed is way better than Super Mario Galaxy".
Which Sources? as far as I know, the Toad Story trailer still says that the game is coming out during Launch Window, but most of the sources that I've seen so far say that the game is coming out around february/march (which makes more sense, as it still qualifies as Launch Window and Q1 2013 at the same time).Bradandez wrote:Wait is Rayman Legends still delayed until Q1 2013 because from sources it says it'll be released on December 4, 2012.
