Re: Rayman Legends
Ok. Took a look before at the Wii U game list. It's shite imo. It only has a few games I'd even think about playing, so I'm not buying Wii U at least till next Christmas.

Re: Rayman Legends
5 minutes ago I asked my uncle to get me a Wii U... he thought it was ok because it was just a controller... then I explained him that it was a console
...oh god, the nightmare is even affecting me.

Re: Rayman Legends
I think it's a stupid console. Sorry.
Re: Rayman Legends
The chance we'll even get a single port at all looks very slim, but there's no harm in being hopeful. Didn't one interview say that the gamepad was completely optional, by the way?sergiomonty wrote:I'd rather wait for Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party to be ported. Seriously, after reading so many interviews saying that Legends was completely designed around the gamepad, I wouldn't be that optimistic.Spanex wrote:I'm staying with my choice. Just going to keep hoping they'll release a PS3/Xbox/PC version eventually. And if they don't, then too bad. No Legends for me. I also don't like the idea of spending a ton of cash for a single game again, no matter how good it may be.
Re: Rayman Legends
I visited Gamex this year where I got the chance to play Rayman Legends. First of all, I gotta say that I really like the Wii U. The reason is mostly because of the games they showcased, but also the console itself. The idea of playing a game on the gamepad instead of the TV is great, because there is always someone that wants to watch TV when you play (atleast that's how it is for me). I definetly look forward to this console. Probably not getting it at launch, but maybe Christmas or earlier.
Re: Rayman Legends
That's a problem I had when I had my Wii on my living room. Now it isn't a problem anymore since my consoles are in my bedroom now.

Re: Rayman Legends
It's got The Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends and Bayonetta 2. For my tastes, it's a pretty awesome console. Sorry for being stupidTeensieKing wrote:I think it's a stupid console. Sorry.
Err... yes... e_e but would you pay the exact same price just to get the 80% of the game?Spanex wrote: The chance we'll even get a single port at all looks very slim, but there's no harm in being hopeful. Didn't one interview say that the gamepad was completely optional, by the way?

Yes, if it saves me whatever price that Wii U costs.sergiomonty wrote:Err... yes... e_e but would you pay the exact same price just to get the 80% of the game?Spanex wrote: The chance we'll even get a single port at all looks very slim, but there's no harm in being hopeful. What about people who bought Rayman 2: The Great Escape and couldn't have the DC version, that owns more stuff?

Re: Rayman Legends
This argument, platform exclusivity and rewards for having one console over another.
I can't say I like the practice, having pre-order incentives is one thing, as it rewards the early purchaser/adopter, but I never did like the idea that someone else got a little more than me at the same price.
But it happens, and you deal with it.

That is called marketing strategies. Money-making is the word.

Re: Rayman Legends
Maybe Ubisoft are waiting for Ps4/ Xbox 720 before they make a move on other consoles with legends
Maybe both these consoles will utilize tablets too and Ubisoft have had the heads up....
Re: Rayman Legends
If the Premium Pack goes for the same price as the Americans are getting, I might consider.
Re: Rayman Legends
im just waiting for a decent bundle to be honest, I doubt nintendo land will hold my interest for very long.Haruka wrote:If the Premium Pack goes for the same price as the Americans are getting, I might consider.

After PSMove, Kinect and Play-Station All Stars Battle Royale I am willing to believe this.Bzzit wrote:Maybe both these consoles will utilize tablets too and Ubisoft have had the heads up....
Re: Rayman Legends
Hopefully it dosent come to that though, dont mind one company trying something new but when the others follow and attempt to emulate the success it just sucks, (though i do admit im a big fan of allstars but Ill not get into that here) i mean why are Microsoft even still supporting kinect, 99% of the games are bollocks! im glad despite nintendo focusing heavily on the tablet technology they are still pretty much offering the traditional game pad controller from the get go.RayTunes wrote:After PSMove, Kinect and Play-Station All Stars Battle Royale I am willing to believe this.Bzzit wrote:Maybe both these consoles will utilize tablets too and Ubisoft have had the heads up....
