Good luck now!

I remind that I took a good while back in my 11 years old to find the last cage of the PC, which was hidden in Pencil Pentathlon. I would say it is the best hidden cage of the version.

In terms of level design, mainly cages, the PC is by far the best version, I think!

I do think that some cages in PC version are much more well hidden than in PS1, but to balance the high difficulty of finding them, there are much more life statues than in PS1.

Screw the DSi port, was playing it on a crowded bus and totally forgot about that stupid photo gimmick when you get a checkpoint, everything was silent and the bloody thing sounded like an atomic bomb going off, the girl sitting next to be looked so uneasy thinking I was taking sneaky snapshots of her. Then when I attempted to quit the game, the sound effect went off again :(

Oh, yes. Half of the time I ended up covering the loudspeakers. It's very strange how certain machines don't allow you to turn the capture sound off. My mobile phone has it too - there's multiple capture sounds, but you must use one of them. It should be easy to include a 'mute sound effect', if that's the only way you could create silence while taking pictures.

I despiiiiissse those things. It's so incredibly unnecessary. It took Apple all the way until iOS 3.5 to include an option to mute the keyboard clicks.

Indeed it's annoying as heck on my 3DS when every time the camera shutter clicks, I wish Nintendo will give the the option to turn it off in the next firm-ware update, I hate playing R1 in public too. :(

Trying to defeat Mr. Skops... R1 bosses are getting more annoying one by one, as for me. :/

Skops is one of the easiest bosses of Rayman 1, if you want my opinion. :P

The only thing you need to do in the very first encounter with Skops is to just jump and do the helicopter, without moving horizontally. Just jumping is enough to avoid the earthquakes and Skops approaching.

The problem, for me, was to try and predict which platform would fall away from under my feet. It doesn't follow a pattern that you'd expect from videogames - it's not predefined - but rather, the platform you were on just a second before is the one that's going to fall. Once I realised this, it got easier. The 'showdown' with him was a bit tricky in that I had to figure out how exactly I could hurt him. This is the fun in old games - there was still difficulty that required smarts as opposed to skills.

Yesyesyesyes, SAME! I was falling almostly all times there.

Also, there were three platforms after that. It was hard for me to jump over Skops' blue poison (or what is that?)

I thought the outermost platform was always either the last or second-last platform to go, no matter what you did. In fact, I'm pretty sure there are two patterns, which alternate each time you die.

Mr. Skops is definitely one of the more easier bosses, but he's also one of the more enjoyable, facing up to a giant limbless scorpion does have its benefits.

This is because some law regulations say (said?) digital cameras can't be muted. Whether thing is a digital camera or not is seemingly decided on case-by-case basis.

I've always found this really annpying, particularly if the fake camera sound is really loud (I can't talk with experience of Rayman DSI, so this is off topic :P). Everyone always turns around whenever they go off, and once me and my brother were made to delete a photo we had just taken as a result. The weirdest thing was, the only time the phone camera spontaneously decided to shut up (probably due to some kind of weird glitch) and stop playing the sound was when we were inside a Government building

If anyone here owns an Atari Jaguar you might want to check this out:http://www.ebay.com/itm/RAYMAN-Atari-Ja ... 5d368dceb2. Rayman on Jaguar for $3.75!!!!! It's got the box and manual too. The seller ships worldwide. You would be quite strange to pass this offer up. If I had a Jaguar I'd bid on this in a heartbeat. :D

By looking at photo, I can say that condition is not just good... it is amazing for 20 years old game. O_O

By the way - http://www.ebay.com/itm/RAYMAN-Sony-Pla ... 58991c5215
Another game in good condition (in this case even unopened) and it is already 60 dollars.
