Sure! Who could think it could mean anything else than 'Finger that Sausage'? So, come on, guys, let's all forget about the social media and get back to our fingering.Danone wrote:That means what < think?GNineify wrote: F that S.
< is pretty happy with <'s exam results, with <'s lowest grade being a 6.8 (68% correct). However, < has such smart friends, that even that achievement makes < feel like a slightly more dim one among them. Of course that's all nonsense, but wait 'til you hear this. One of them has two 10's (perfect score) and her lowest grade's a flippin' 8! O-o
Dat brien. Delicious smarts.

It doesn't necessarily suggest she's any more intelligent, regardless of how our governments and education ministries might consider us. It only implies she's very focused on her academic achievements within those given subjects. She could still lack common sense, critical thinking, reasoning skills, open-mindedness, creativity, insight, intuition, skepticism, originality, etc. These intellectual traits are not required when all school examinations are based on rote learning for example.Shrooblord wrote:One of them has two 10's (perfect score) and her lowest grade's a flippin' 8! My own school experience is mixed. Often I never focused due to my lack of motivation and the fact I had better things to do, while I struggled fairly a lot of times, because I possibly have ADHD, which can lead to heavy occupation of thoughts and daydreaming, while it's able to shut me off every time I forcibly have to deal with matters I consider useless. I still passed with decent grades nonetheless. I didn't even have any meaningful reason to strive for perfect ones.
< made his 500th post btw.

While < knows this might be the case, < also knows that here, this is not the case.PowerPatrick wrote:It doesn't necessarily suggest she's any more intelligent, regardless of how our governments and education ministries might consider us. <'s fine with it though. Smart people around you only make life more intelligently fun (smart humour, yes?).
< wonders what product ^^'s would result in. < would buy it.

Re: The You Game!
<'s point is, grades does not define how smart you are, and should never be used that way.

They're usually a very accurate indicator, though.PowerPatrick wrote:<'s point is, grades does not define how smart you are

< supposes it could be "more than half the time," but < thinks it's still very far from accurate.
< was getting 55% in math last year, but < is now getting 94% this year. Did < suddenly get a whole lot more intelligent?
