Same here. I've played No More Heroes 2 as well as Smash Bros melee, and it all worked 100% flawless, you just need a good computer.Adsolution wrote:Dolphin emulates Wii games almost flawlessly for me.sergiomonty wrote:the Wii emulator barely works

That could possibly be why? I have no clue, not big on mac here, it sometimes depends on what game you are playing.sergiomonty wrote:I have the most recent version of mac...

Re: Rayman Legends
So, if one was to install Windows on a Mac, and attempt to run Dolphin via emulator on that, would it run better than Dolphin on OSX?
Actually, out of pure curiosity, which Mac do you have?

Now find a Sims game with an arcade in it and play SSX on the SimBox within the Wii within the PC within your Mac. Also get the SSX character to pull out their phone and play on that. Now imagine a deity watching over us through a televised screen for its own comfort.sergiomonty wrote:A Wii within a PC within a Mac.... sounds good to me.

Re: Rayman Legends
You did the upgrade to Windows 8?
I personally prefer to wait for the next version, I'm fine with 7 so far.
Isn't Windows 8 more prepared for touchdisplay computers?

That phrase, you use it too much even in cases where the whole fucking thing makes sense. This is one of these cases.Adsolution wrote:Lolwtf does that even mean.sergiomonty wrote:I have the most recent version of mac...

Now all we need is support for everything else.
Re: Rayman Legends
A question to European users: who is buying the Wii U tomorrow? (or got it but will open it only on Xmas)

Re: Rayman Legends
I... was... almost to the last second... considering ordering it tomorrow, since it surely won't be in any RL shops in Warsaw. However my financial situation got weird (not hard, just unusual) this week, so I'll wait for it probably. Still, due to weirdness of the situation, I may actually buy it next week.
Re: Rayman Legends
Hi !
Does somebody here has downloaded the demo of Rayman Legends on Wii U ?

Re: Rayman Legends
You can ask that to American users because in Europe the console only gets released tomorrow.

Re: Rayman Legends
The demo isn't out yet. Probably it will come out along with the European launch (it said "at launch", right?), that's the only explanation I can think of.
EDIT:
Look at this guy... he's so excited about his Wii U!
I'm probably gonna record myself and post it here as soon as I can XD

Re: Rayman Legends
This is the problem with Windows 8.
I tried a demo at my friend's house and I must say I'm disappointed by the obscurity of it all. You need a tutorial just to find out exactly how everything works. I got to figure it out pretty quickly because I have at least some knowledge about how phones operate and that the four corners of the screen might do something (which is something I've learnt from Mac machines). There is no real intuitive process going on in Windows 8 unless you maybe have a touchscreen display. The fact that you have to pick up a window and drag it into the lower half of the screen to 'delete' it (i.e. close the program completely) is just a random guess that you'll have to try and figure out. That the taskbar appears when you go into the lower-right corner is just mean. The whole secondary 'desktop mode' makes no real sense to me, as you'll have to switch back to the metro view (à la Xbox360 Dashboard) to bring up any form of start menu. There's more of these little problems I could detail, but there's no real use in being nitpickity about it all - does it handle processing well, Adsolution? What are its pros, in your opinion?
