Why are red Lums like in Rayman 2 but yellow Lums are like in Origins? Any special reason? I expected all lums to look like in R2, I find it more appropiate for a serious game. But I like your 3D version of the yellow Lums anyway.

I would very much like it if people would put in the effort to read:

PowerPatrick helped me formulate the concept: they are the same thing, but they take their Rayman 2 form when sleeping. For example, there may be some roosting on ledges, treetops or posts as slow-flapping Rayman 2 yellow lums. But when you run up to them, their eyes open up and out pop their limbs as they fly away. Little environmental details that clean up the lore quite a bit, and that's my favourite kind. I like to explain inconsistencies with very simple and logical answers instead of going all fan-ficcy and making up some huge background element. Of course big explanations are nice from time to time (the story of ROTD, really), but something like this is nice to be kept simple.

In all seriousness, I'm loving the recent updates you've made. Looks like the game is really taking shape now. I especially love the menu as it has a nice feel of all 3 Rayman titles (RO is shunned for not using numbers) put together. Classy.

Also love the idea with combining the RO and R2 lum designs- really cute! Now shield it from Ubi's eyes so they don't take it. :V

Thanks! I feel the same way about it starting to take shape, however it still is in a very messy stage at the moment. I think the real shape-taking will most likely begin in maybe 6-12 months from now - by that I mean the kind of shape that makes it look like a nicely functioning game. Presumably, the alpha stage may be reached in the next two years. If you compare what it is now to what it was in early July though, it's miles ahead of what it was.

@Haruka:
Haha, most definitely Remember, you're one of the testers, so you (and the few other testers) get access to the demos/tests before everyone else.

@Shroob:
If you were able to run the Stresstest fine, you'll most likely be able to run everything else fine.

Hahah, if course! You are my future walkthrough person after all, so I see no reason why you can't start early with the demos.

Though, again like the last one, this one likely isn't going to be anything level-based, it'll most likely be another area, though a much larger where you can actually control Rayman and such. I should start putting that together about now anyway.

I would take in account both videos anyway. Afterall even for official Rayman games I grab the cool pieces I can find, like betas and prototypes (Needs to upload the video of the prototype Jaguar game).
