It's such a shame that there isn't a rewarding system for R3HD.

Because there is no theoretical maximum score for R3HD, and since nobody is trying to achieve a near-maximum score, it's difficult to assess individual scores. That's why everyone is sticking to the conventional scoring in the original game (which has a far better structure anyway).

As of 13/12/2012, the reward system for the Hall of Fame is now automated. No need to contact anyone, just submit your score in the Hall of Fame and you will get 1 Ting every 100 points you score in the game. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Nope, it means that if you have 800k points you get 8000 tings.

It depends...with my 528k i got moar than 5000 tings :O more than with the previous system (I would have received 2500 tings).

But I think it won't be retroactive don't worry for your tings Danone. But yeah now it will be less rewarding to top score mora and more. Is it really fair? The amount of time spent of the game surely increases exponentially with the score :x

So, my score in Hall of Fame is 514457. Share by 100... take off 2500...

Does this mean I now get 2645 tings?

So there will be more rewards for the lower scores, and less rewards for higher scores. I think it's a bit unfair.

I guess there should be 1 ting reward for every 50 points.

Danone, you're lucky with getting your 20k ting before this system came in. Now i can only get a 1000 tings if i reach 800000 points ( which - it seems - will never happen ) while you got 10000. Duh, it's unfair. :mefiant:

In that case, any mod should edit the first page.

I already edited the first post when I wrote the one above.

As concerns the rewards, they are now more important for low scores and less important for high scores. While we are aware that scoring requires a lot more time and practice as the total score goes up, we chose to reduce the ridiculously high amount for huge scores but didn't want to lower it again for low scores, so we chose to use a linear scale, which is more oriented towards casual gaming than hardcore scoring and should therefore appeal to a broader part of the community. Of course, this is absolutely not retroactive and none of the previous rewards will be changed.
