I personally love the giant gladiator with the club, his dopey giggle and Homer Simpson-esque scream when beaten are priceless.
Ubisoft...I hate you a little less now

Finally you said something that is not retarded!darkkitty wrote:i knew they would not mess this up after origins was such an over rated flop yay there making good rayman games again finaly we have some interation again

We could add a simple 'another appearance of Globox is him in a variety of costumes, including a Knight, a (...) and (...) etc.' - but then in words that make sense.sergiomonty wrote:Assuming that they're the same character with different costumes, I assume that they don't deserve separate articles on the wiki, or do they?

You could test a demo tomorrow? some video would be orsum o/Keane wrote:Wee, can't wait to play the demo later today.

If there was a bit more strategy in defeating foes and in the cooperation between players, it would be a much more novel idea. At least they're actually using the Wii U Gamepad in a creative, new way. Utilization of the new controller has been largely mediocre or just plain terrible in all the launch titles.Greenbottle3 wrote:I liked seeing some more demo videos, but in my opinion, as much as I like the idea, but having Murphy as a playable character seems like an unnecessary addition to the game. I may have only seen videos, but I think the game would be more fun without Murphy rendering each enemy defenseless, flipping all the switches, rotating all the platforms, and in short, it seems like Murphy is doing most of the work.

I don't know, man... Nintendo Land, and Zombi U did a decent job in that area, and The Wonderful 101 is also taking that route. Even NSMB U had a pretty basic use for it, but when you try it, it is pretty awesome.Rayfanboy wrote:Utilization of the new controller has been largely mediocre or just plain terrible in all the launch titles.

I'm surprised that Globox's talk makes sens.Also... GLOBOX AND RAYMAN TALK!!!

This didn't work at all with the Wii, why do you think it'll work with the Wii U?sergiomonty wrote:I'm pretty sure third parties will know how to potentially use the controller
Having played through the demo now three times, I can tell you it's Knight Globox that's playable, not Toad Globox. Also I can't get the Teensies In Trouble theme out of my head, it's so darn catchy. This track and Toad Story will definitely be one of the highlights of the soundtrack. Does anyone else concur?sergiomonty wrote:That's Toad Globox, he has the light-green spots and a big brown belt. Knight Globox is similar, but wears a metallic mask and a dark-green belt.
