Does anyone remember that thread in which you had to play through the games and complete some sort of Achievements? That was fun. Could we bring it back? I've tried to locate it, but I can no longer find it...

Oh. Uh. That's not a promising reaction.Xenon wrote: Who are you and what in Christ's name have you done with MLII?
I must have missed something between "what's wrong with talking to flirty Sri Lankan men online?" and "FUCK YOU POOPYHEAD"
I'm going to go hide in a hole now ;3;

If I recall correctly, the host felt the challenge had run its course, and finished the series.Shrooblord wrote:Does anyone remember that thread in which you had to play through the games and complete some sort of Achievements? Still, now feels like a good time to revive it, please view here: viewtopic.php?t=7576

Ah, that dial-up tone, we first got internet in the twilight days of dial-up, but I can still remember that tone well.
Of course, the inconveniences that came with dial-up aren't so fondly remembered, technology pushes forward.

Re: Off Topic
Oh I love that sound. It's still used in lots of references nowadays.
And so I bumped the thread:

Lol, I never had it. Makes me sad, because I know many people who are much younger than me and they remember. xDViricide Filly wrote:Does anyone remember Dial-Up?

Vocaloid in a nutshell.

??????????????
I really don't know why I'm posting this, I just found it rather intriguing and touching. Something so complex presented so simply. It looks like just a boat boringly floating by, but there's more than meets the eye.

That's a very neat short, and lovely to think about too. I think a lot of the fun comes from the fact that it's entirely non-contextual, and I'm sure everyone will interpret it their own way.
Re: Off Topic
Your video looks very gay, sergio. What a coincidence.

Re: Off Topic
Does anyone know how to get rid of these fucking things (circled in red)? They're lines that I created when typing several hyphons (-) in a row so I could put a footnote down on the end of the page, but now my bloody Word wants to add them at the end of each page and before every chapter heading!
http://i48.tinypic.com/68d069.jpg
I can't get them to disappear! Even if I spam Enter passed the end of the page, that one line disappears, but then there's others that are so stubborn that no method seems to work on them.
Please, it's very important I get this solved soon - this is an important project for school. Thank you!

Re: Off Topic
Are there no Word-experts here? This is a seriously annoying problem I have to solve relatively soon. I'd be so glad if someone could help me.
If not, thanks anyway.
EDIT:
Of course I found the solution, like, immediately after posting that. Here:
