Well we all have different Scares Rayfan, and one of mine happens to be jump scares, I guess my heart just ticks like a bomb easily and explodes when seeing a jump, aha.

Just finished Assassin's Creed III. The ending is awesome and extremely satisfying, I can't wait till Assassin's Creed IV. It's one of those things where you have to be a fan of the story to really like it though.

So I presume it's some oogey-boogey stuff I don't care for at all?

So you think there will be a part 4? I thought this was the end of it. Do you have any sources?

Of course. It's not the end of the story, just Desmond's story. The ending to this game was left completely open.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I 'guess' so.

I suppose you're right. Ubisoft wouldn't just end the franchise at this point, they would miss out on tons of income.

I tried out the demo of the LEGO Lord of the Rings yesterday, on my PS3. It was incredibly fun.

I should point out that I used an Xbox 360 controller when playing the PC versions of Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed III, something about those games just lends them to sitting back in a comfy chair rather than mouse and keyboard.

@Tobbe, yeah I know what you mean about Halo 4's story, I think they tried a little too hard, also wtf was with that almost creepy Cortana-Chief relationship. I thought they took that a little too seriously based on the fact that she's basically a computer. Aside from that it's one of my games of the year, absolutely outstanding, graphics and gameplay were top notch, and the story was decent. Only wish Chief didn't talk so much.

@Rayfan, guess that's personal taste, I only just got Left 4 Dead 2 and I really like it, although it gets tedious fast when playing alone.

Taste indeed - I loved all of Masterchief's dialogue and I wanted to see more Chief-Cortana stuff.

Haha definitely differing opinions then yes. I liked Chief as the strong silent type, but he just wouldn't shut up in 4, which also made it quite clear that the voice actor wasn't great. And while I like Cortana, I simply find it hard to emotionally invest in what is essentially a multi-million dollar bot, it's like "Chief! Make some real friends"

I'm still playing Draksiders II.

Almost everything in this one is better than in the first one : the plot (Death is so more tormented than fucking War "hey I have a big sword and I'm back for revenge againt Straga go die you mozaf*****!!!"), the gameplay (fights are very harder especially when you are are fighting many strong enemies at the same time), you can custom Death like a freaky tank or a caster...and with secondary quests and tribularium you will probably need 50 hours in order to finish the game (adventure around 20 hours first time).

Moreover, this time the adventure is not on Earth : you will go on it just for a short part of the game. It's very fun to see new universes created by THQ and VIGIL...

The only drawbacks of DII is maybe the background music, too repetitive during the adventure (to my mind :P), and the difficulty of playing with a keyboard : as the difficulty of combats increased a lot since the first opus (counter-attacks are hard to create and Death can't block attacks, he tumbles and dodges them), when you are only using your arrows for 8 movements it's hard not to be hit by some enemies.

Play it at least for the plot :).

Steam, I assume your friend got it in the same sale as I did, when it was £3.74 or something ridiculous
You can go ahead and add me on steam if you'd like!

I started recently to play again some Wii games as I lost all my save files last summer (RIP my first wii ;; ...who decided to die when Haruka was with me). At the moment I'm playing again Mario Kart Wii...I want to recover my two stars rank! :(

I also got introduced to two other games: The Witch's House, and Ib.
Those two are horror japanese RPG games which got translated by a fan. Me who normally isn't a big fan of horror games, I got really surprised by how well-written the story plot was, especially in "The Witch's House" (for Ib I'm not sure yet, I only started to play it. ^^; ).
If you like to play scary RPG games, you should try out, and the best is that it's free. :3 You just need to download another software first to make the games working.

I don't know if you already knew about those games, but I wanted to talk about it, because I really enjoyed the gameplay (and the same thing for Ib so far). :)

Oh, I also played Worms Reloaded and Worms Ultimate Mayhem with Haruka and Eshap. It was extremly fun!
I'm waiting for the next sales on Steam to get Worms Revolution, which looks really fun. ^^

As I've progressed further into New Super Mario Bros. U, I've come to notice that it might be one of the best 2D sidescrollers I've played in a long time. Yes, there have already been three similar games, they have the same world themes again (Except for a hidden area within another world!), and use the same tracks for this game, but this one feels so superior to every NSMB game. Every world feels more unique in this game, and I believe it is called Painted Bridge, is just one of the best examples of showing that Nintendo still has the ability to be creative with the same character. Soda Jungle is the point in the game where Nintendo can't get much more loyal to the fans of their old games.

Just bought Borderlands 1 and 2, Hitman 4 and 5, Deus Ex HR, Batman Arkham Asylum and City, and Mirror's Edge in the Steam sale, feeling pretty happy with that selection and got an amaaaazing price, love steam.

I already played about half (I guess) of Deus Ex HR on Mac before it broke and absolutely loved it so I can already recommend that to peeps, but I'm most looking forward to Borderlands cuz I've heard nothing but great things.
