But what makes you so sure it is TK, and not a hacker. Just take a look at the "Under Hoodlum Hat" tavern Ogre made. It says:

He has been inactive for quite a while here, so he may not have read that post at all. And even if he read it, he might not give a damn about giving the one who made that post, tings. Also, I don't really see why a hacker would have any profit from giving everyone extra tings if he doesn't have anything to do with the pirate community.

But we don't have 100% certainty anyway, so for now, let's stop doing speculations about it.
