Re: Rayman Legends
The new Dream Team game is lookin' pretty good.
I was never big on Luigis Mansion, I played the first, I still own it, but ehh... I didn't like it much for some reason, maybe I never tried it enough, I would give Dark Moon a shot though, that is for sure.

i did not like that game as well the odd thing is the same day i gave it a try is the same day that i first gave ray a try
Re: Rayman Legends
Luigi's Mansion is one of the greats from the GameCube for me. The unique atmosphere, creative gameplay, and tons of little touches they added make it hold up really well. Dark Moon looks like it will really innovate on the original concept and make it even better.
Mario Golf World Tour looks pretty cool, too. I know It's gonna be a bit generic like Mario Tennis Open, but I dunno, I find them to be perfect for on-the-go gaming.

Re: Rayman Legends
Luigi's Mansion was great, the only problem with it was its longevity. You can barely beat it in just a few hours. Dark Moon promises something big, has some great puzzles on it, and the best and wackiest animations I've ever seen on a Nintendo game. Even multiplayer looks promising.
Mario Golf World Tour looks great, I'm not a big fan of Mario Golf, but this one has incredible graphics for a 3ds game, and even some good escenarios, like the garden with a gigantic Goomba walking around.
The newest Mario & Luigi looks... weird. You basically just touch Luigi while he's on his sleep (yes... it's difficult to explain in the proper context). But who knows, everybody was criticizing Bowser's Inside Story when it was announced just because it looked too different, but ended up being an excellent addition to the series.
Ah! and if you haven't played Donkey Kong Country Returns, this is your great opportunity to purchase it for 3ds, guys! I just watched the trailer in 3d and it looks outstanding. I have the wii version, so I'm probably not getting it, but it's awesome that they're porting such a great game from Retro Studios.

Re: Rayman Legends
At first the announcement DKCR3D felt like a huge blow to the stomach, because I was anticipating the new Donkey Kong game for 3DS to be a remake of DK64, a DK64 inspired game, or a new 2D platformer starring DK. But oh' well, I already own DKCR for Wii, but if they "beef-up" this port with all-new content I very well might buy, since I loved the game so much on Wii.sergiomonty wrote: Ah! and if you haven't played Donkey Kong Country Returns, this is your great opportunity to purchase it for 3ds, guys! I never played the original Luigi's Mansion, but 'Dark Moon does indeed look very promising, otherwise the rest of the Nintendo Direct aside from a Dillon's Rolling Western sequel was pretty meh. I'm hoping I'll be able to find something to hold me over until Rayman Legends releases in September. By the way is Kid Icarus: Uprising any good, I know left-handed people, like me, have to buy the Circle-Pad Pro to play if I'm properly informed.
Re: Rayman Legends
Hm, that reminds me, I haven't beaten the Wii game yet. Found it to be a bit hard, maybe I should give it another try soon.

Re: Rayman Legends
The controls suck, but the game is so amazing you just forget about that aspect... You just learn how to control it with some practice (your hands hurt the first day) . The character development, the graphics, the plot, the FREAKING PLOOOOT, oh, and the online battles are awesome too, I loved that game! And they break the fourth wall so much even Deadpool and Pinkie Pie would feel jealous.Rayfanboy wrote:By the way is Kid Icarus: Uprising any good, I know left-handed people, like me, have to buy the Circle-Pad Pro to play if I'm properly informed.
By the way, don't worry about being left handed, the game has an option for left handed players (use the four buttons instead of the analog). I'm not sure if it feels good, but a friend of mine who is left-handed confirmed to me that it is even better. And If I remember, the Circle-Pad Pro was cancelled...

Not very excited for Dream Team. But Mario Kart for Wii U is supposed to be released before December, and that's a must-have in my list!

Re: Rayman Legends
So the unknown variables got even worse for RL, duh?
Actually, this is a thing that I want your opinion on: am I the only person that thinks Ubisoft decided on the delay long ago and this is why it looks so stupid right now with all those releases before/during/around September?

Re: Rayman Legends
Probably you are, none of those releases were related to Wii U or even close to compete against Legends. Also, the competition is getting worse in September. GTA V and the upcoming Wii U games are going to crush the game to death. However, I must agree in something, and that is the fact that Ubisoft was planning to delay the game since long ago. Wasn't all that silence about the game during the last two months... mysterious?stan423321 wrote:So the unknown variables got even worse for RL, duh?

Re: Rayman Legends
Actually, now that you mentioned it, it was a bit strange. Said silence obviously indicates that yes, they did plan on delaying the release of the game awhile ago. Regardless, I'm still pissed due to the delay, planned a long time ago or not; we already waited long enough. And anyways, the game looks fun, but I'm really in the mood for another three-dimensional Rayman game, like the Rayman 4 we were promised long ago. It's unlikely that they'll start on a new Rayman game after Legends, though, since they're probably going to be busy with a Beyond Good & Evil sequel.sergiomonty wrote:Probably you are, none of those releases were related to Wii U or even close to compete against Legends. At the moment, I'm really looking forward to Adsolution's fan-game - and Legends a bit, but like I said I'm pissed off due to the delay - but according to Ad the game won't be finished for quite awhile, or so it seems...

Maybe you reminded her a lot of that guy, and then she decided to ask. Does that explain anything?Dark Lum Lord wrote:How come? Or were you literally checking for no reason?

Course. The question was more rhetorical; don't even know why I asked it when the answer was already obvious. I was kind of bored and just asked to start a conversation, I guess.Minor-T5 wrote:Maybe you reminded her a lot of that guy, and then she decided to ask. Re: Rayman Legends
Ok so after the Nintendo Direct I'm most probably getting Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon on March 24th and maybe even Pokémon Mystery Dungeon on May 17th

Nay, it was because you mentioned the release date for my game being far away about an hour after someone with a similar posting style to yours asked about the release date on YouTube.Dark Lum Lord wrote:How come? Or were you literally checking for no reason?
Re: Rayman Legends
I wonder what the new exclusive Wii U demo will bring. Something we didn't see so far? A build that we saw it on the internet before because of the game conferences? Make your bets.
I believe that only a PS3/360 demo will come out in August.
