Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well wow, I somehow managed to get RA working on my Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. And I didn't even think it would be compatible with Windows 7 64-bit, seems I was wrong.

I'm glad.Rayfist wrote:Well wow, I somehow managed to get RA working on my Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. And I didn't even think it would be compatible with Windows 7 64-bit, seems I was wrong.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
You would never know if you didn't try out.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Sorry for bumping but I was wondering if there were volunteers to do tests to Rayman Arena and the new versions of Hamachi, to see if the online works.

Please let this work - it's been far too long since I've tried multiplayer'ing Mayman R.

Arena, Schmooky.
Yup, there was this little thingamabob which allowed for online games to set up over LAN.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Yeah, sorry for the typo, but does it only work with Rayman Arena? And what is this thingamabob?

Re: Rayman M-Arena
We should make a headquarters for the RPC and make a huge lan party for Rayman Arena- my god that'd be sweet XD
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I don't own Rayman Arena, but I own Rayman M.

Apparently it sells for one penny. Uh... sure! I think I can stretch for that amount!
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Don't forget the shipping, Shroobie.
I'm gonna have to buy a copy of Rayman Arena...I think my dad will pass if it's only a cent.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Shit. I had EXACTLY that Rayman Arena, but I sold it.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I personally tried Hamachi and it was not working. I wonder if I do need to use the technique from Xenon's first post, and if still works.

I use Hamachi for various things such as Minecraft and I don't do this step here:Haruka wrote:I personally tried Hamachi and it was not working. I wonder if I do need to use the technique from Xenon's first post, and if still works.
so maybe you'll want to try doing it without taking out your internet connection.Xenon wrote:3. A VERY IMPORTANT STEP:
Go to Network connections in your windows configuration panel. ( If you don't know how, Start-> Run -> ncpa.cpl)
Close your internet connection ( not hamachi, keep that running, but just close your internet connection. ), then run Rayman Arena.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I did all with internet connection and it didn't work...

Re: Rayman M-Arena
What I had to do for some other game a while back was put my Hamachi at the top of my Network priority list. I don't know if newer versions of OS'es still work that way, but if they do, you'll need to find something like 'Advanced Settings' and put Hamachi at the top.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Hmm... I used Hamachi a while ago (for a school project, not a game) and I just couldn't get it to work
It never connected properly and my regular internet connection started to misbehave (even when I wasn't running Hamachi at all) until I uninstalled it. My friend couldn't get it to work either... so I've only ever had bad experiences with Hamachi.
