Minor, when you're just ironically pretending to be the problem, you ARE the problem.

The Lividstones are considered freaks? For something so humanoid, the only thing I can imagine being 'freakish' is their limblessness - maybe Rayman was supposed to be the only limbless thing in his world, along with the rest of his species...?
As a guardian of this world, Rayman must free the Electoons, recapture the Great Protoon from its mysterious kidnapper and reassemble them all to restore the world's harmony. But will the bad guys let him do it? After all, he doesn't have any arms or legs... But then again, neither do the bad guys.
Hmmmmm... interesting.
Still stuck? Dial 1-900-420-4UBI for exclusive tips and game play secres for Rayman. The cost of this call is $.85 per minute for automated hints, or $1.15 per minute for assistance from a live operator. All callers must be 18 years of age or older.
Pffft hilarious! I remember having a cheatbook of several games that had a similar text on its cover - maybe, at some point, gaming strategy hotlines was a real industry! We can all thank the internet for giving us tips for free nowadays.

The strategy guide is quite thorough; it's more like what we would call a walkthrough nowadays. For example, see this entry on the second part of the Pink Plant Woods:
Jungle Level 2
  1. On this level, you will encounter for the first time in the game: magicians, antitoons, photographers, scavengers and flying fish. - In order to visit the magician's secret bonus levels, you must collect 10 blue tings and pay him. One little trick you can try if you don't make it through the entire bonus level in time, is to collect tings while in the secret level (all you need is 10) and then reenter the level once you've been kicked out. The bonus levels are important because you earn valuable free lives by completing them.
  2. On your first time through this level, you will see scavengers and cages at the top of the screen. They cannot be accessed until you get the power to hang and punch.
  3. There are 3 electoon cages on this level.
It's interesting to see what the pre-release names for the characters were, like 'scavengers' as opposed to 'Lividstones'.

Oh I see now, I visited that website before.

@Shrooblord In the intro, the Magician also mentions "freaks and hostile characters appear". I think this term applies to most of all the enemies we can find in the game, not just to Livingstones. What we can think is that like the Heart of the World's destruction made magical creatures getting weak and lose their powers, the stealing of the Great Protoon made several creatures appear. What I wonder is if the consequences of a Great Protoon stealing are mostly the same as Polokus' nightmares: obscure creatures earning life.

I noticed most of that text is what the Magician says in the intro. Maybe it's a direct transcript.

Possibly, I can't remember it clearly, but I know that the manual for the Rayman 1 I had featured a different, somewhat truncated version of the Magician's intro.

I have a question to PC R1 players, does anybody knows which files correspond to the save data of R1, RD, R60L and RBHF?

Oh, I saw it for R1, it ends with a SAV. Now for the others I'm not quite sure where it is.

For all other games there's no save file. Just a *.sct file (Score file) for each map will be stored in the pcmap folder

Thaaaanks, the plum are very hard, because it plays at pixel, if we do 1 pixel long we lose speed.
And the best is to hit moskito at the first frame when he don't move because the time to he to get down without hitting make lose time.
Same with the last, we must hit it at the last frame when possible, because the time to he to get up
