Nope, they still can hit each other. It is only disabled during Platforming Hero segments.

In terms of quality, who knows, maybe, but After going multiplatform, I don't think it will be considered the best Wii U game, unless it has a lot of additional content, or course. The game will probably be overshadowed by other cool games after the E3.Ubisoft: We Want Rayman Legends To Become One Of The Best Wii U Games
“The Wii U the team is working hard on the Wii U [version] to make sure it continues to improve, so it can become one of the best Wii U games. We hope it can be one of the top games Ubisoft creates.”
“What’s very important to consider is that, when a team has more time, they are able to continue to improve the quality of the game. When we saw we had more time, we saw all of the possibilities. Some of the possibilities are the social features that we are seeing today, but also new bosses, new possibilities that will take the game to a level that people will love.”

yeah it might but look at it its so amazing i,ve never seen any graphics that mind blowing to era expect dynamite headdy who had some 3d on the freaking genise
Re: Rayman Legends
I had no idea there was a French cartoon with this name. Its quite possible to be a pun of that since its not the first time that Ubisoft gives away references to the French culture in Rayman games. You can see Rayman kicking a football kung fu-style in this picture. Could this be a Rayman sports game? It could also be Ubisoft's tribute to French cartoon Kung Foot which first aired in 1987.

Re: Rayman Legends
Speaking of references, is there a consensus on what Grolem 13's name stands for? I remember mentioning the striking resemblance of one of titles of Lem's works, but referencing Polish culture in a French game is relatively unprobable after all.

Re: Rayman Legends
Grolem 13 sounds a little like Golem XIV. I have heard that Lem was relatively popular in France (not as much as in Poland, USSR and GDR though, obviously), so when I have seen the book in Pa's library, it was kinda hard to resist the feeling two must be connected. Nowadays, I'm more sceptical towards all sorts of theories.

Re: Rayman Legends
Ugh... seriously, at this point the lack of information or trailers is slowly making Rayman Legends die... especially considering that the game was supposed to be released a few days ago.

Re: Rayman Legends
Indeed they do. If only Ubisoft wasn't so afraid...
But well... this is also Nintendo's fault, they can have the awesomest first party games in development right now, but that doesn't give them the right to make such a lame launch window. I mean... just two freaking first party games... TWO.

Re: Rayman Legends
Still better than none, as being the case with the 3DS.
As for Legends, there indeed hasn't been enough news to satisfy most of us (atleast myself). I don't know, give us a new trailer or two, showing of some new content to keep us interested. Personally, I'm still anticipated as hell for it. I'd imagine it to be atleast doubled the size and lenght of its prequel now when they have time to add more stuff to it.
Also, since it's release will be quite close to the launch of the ps4 and maybe even the next xbox, will they make it available for these too? Imagine Ubisoft delay yet another time because of making a simultaneous release for both current- and next-gen.

Re: Rayman Legends
I know they learned their reason with Origins... but that doesn't mean that they should remain quiet forever. Knowing about the challenge mode was pretty exciting, but come on... at least let us see more... at least a new unlockable character... or Kung Foot. Or at least a new world... so far we've only seen medieval and greek.

Re: Rayman Legends
That was cool, Stan. I also followed the external link Wikipedia gave me to some animation based on the story, which was also nice. I enjoyed that.stan423321 wrote:Grolem 13 sounds a little like Golem XIV. However, I can't really see why they would choose to name the fourth Guardian after this AI - even if the names are similar, what other points of comparisson are there? Maybe there aren't any and it's just a reference for the sake of a reference...

Re: Rayman Legends
Again, nowadays I am not really sure there must be a connection. On the other hand, resemblance is confusing. For what it's worth, developers could, for example, come up with the boss and call it Grolem, and then one person in the development team could feel like adding a 13 as some kind of tribute to the book would work.

Re: Rayman Legends
i could die waiting hear i,m starting to think that for our sake i hope not they might cancel rayman legends it,s quite a real threat to the game if it dose get delayed a certain amount of times just think about it do i make a valid point or don,t i
Re: Rayman Legends
Well, with all the promotion, gameplay and anticipation we've recieved, the chance of it being cancelled is none. We'll eventually get the game in our hands. There's only.... six months left...
