Re: What games are you currently playing?
Lately, been playing Resident Evil 5, this is my first time playing a Resident Evil game in a long time, the game in whole truly isn't too scary, but does have some really cheap jump scares at times :/ (Fucking reapers...)
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Finished Sticker Star just now. I've had a great time with it. Probably one of the longest boss battles in Mario history.
Anyway, I had a good time with it, and I'll miss playing it. The atmosphere and music just had a great appeal to me. Guess I'll have to wait for Dark Moon to come out now.
I believe I'm only a couple hours from the end of Epic Mickey 2. I've made my way through so many different puzzles from hell and things that make no sense that nothing can really shock me with how bad it is. I think 90% of my struggle with the gameplay can be blamed on how much they messed everything up. At least it does have some good moments. I've been looking at the environment with a lot of detail and it's clear they put a lot of work into it. Story is still great, though I'm a bit dissapointed that they make you really like a character and then suddenly give him a plot twist that you wish didn't happen.
Skyward Sword after this one.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I just 100%ed Skyward Sword, now I'm stuck with nothing to play. I tried to play through Twilight Princess again, but the disc is too scratched for the Wii U to recognize.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Still playing Rayman Origins, but playing Nintendo Land at the same time. I got one star in the Legend of Zelda attraction. I think I'm going for the Metroid Blast next.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I rarely get to play the Metroid game because everyone in my family thinks I'm too good at it. :/ I need a friend that likes Nintendo.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I am currently replaying Rayman Origins because I can. I keep forgetting how gloriously fun that game it - not perfect, but up there. Very good. Yes,.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
If somebody is interested in getting StarFox Adventures for GameCube, with manual included and PAL region you can contact me since I'm selling it.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
The Sims 3!
Re: What games are you currently playing?
Just finished Epic Mickey 2. It hinted to a third game, but Junction Point is no more since recent times. Maybe for the better, maybe they could have improved. Either way, I had a good time with it, despite being able to make trading cards out of the glitches (Music stopping, Mickey getting hurt by nothing, Oswald walking away, no sound, enemies stuck in objects, quests not finishing themselves after completion, etc) and fucked up stuff (Vague explanations, never ending repeated lines, puzzles from hell, receiving a little reward for big work, pointless quests, being warned and hearing all these messages about how I ruined something yet it changes nothing, fucking up an entire area does nothing, instead in the end you get a almost perfect ending because you didn't help some guy with an optional quest) but despite all of that... it was still a good game. The ideas just work. The world is so beautiful eye catching, even much more than the first game. The fitting and spectacular music. The atmosphere. You will get very frustrated by both games, especially this one, but if you got the money, I really don't think you should stay away from it. The story will keep you from giving up all the way. This game manages to just barely keep you from quitting and get exited once more. While this should not be in a game, I will remain to think of it a huge guilty pleasure, and for me Epic Mickey left something behind.
Anyway...
Going to try Pikmin before I start Skyward Sword.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'm playing ...wait... what was the name?
Bit Trip Presents: Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. Yeah, that one.
Amazing game, it's pretty addictive. God I love indie games like this. Only problem I have with it is that it has a little bug that freezes my Wii U every time I try to turn the console off, forcing me to unplug the cable and plug it again.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
The Sims 2. The reason why I'm still playing the second one is that I've created such a huge family tree of sims and I want to make it bigger. Though I should some day buy TS3.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Sims 3 has a lot of amazing new features, but a great deal of disappointing factors that aren't necessarily mentioned anywhere.
For example, in the original game, you can only control one family at a time and the rest will be controlled by EA's master-plan executing Storytelling Engine. This strange device forces random Sims to hook up, cheat on each other, get fired, have a family, move out or even delete themselves from your neighbourhood because the demographics call the need for it. For example, if the demographics say "in a city of so many people, two women should be pregnant", the game randomly appoints a female Sim to go get a partner that maybe doesn't even fit naturally and forces her pregnant.
The other thing is that you know those lifetime traits, the Wishes and the Fears from Sims2? Fears are now abolished, but Lifetime Wishes and Wants are still there. The big flaw is that if you switch families from the one you are controlling now to one that is at that point being controlled by the Storytelling Engine, you will lose all wishes that you 'locked' for that first family, which is absolutely ridiculous.
Luckily, a very nice modder has offered a solution: nraas Story Progression Mod. It is quite a beefy mod, but I have found that if you don't install too many other ones, it will run fine.
This mod solves both problems at once.
First, it still acts like the Storytelling Engine, except that it works far more intricately and looks for more logical solutions. Sims that are naturally more attracted to each other have a higher chance of hooking up and Sims that are not fond of children will be less likely to get them. It also pushes events like 'Get a new job' fare more naturally and I love it for this.
But what I really like is that it has the ability to save your inactive family's Wishes and Traits (the so-called Dream Catcher) and that it can even put them in 'Stasis', effectively freezing them until you get back to play with them.
If you ever get Sims 3, I strongly encourage you to use this mod and look up how it works with the documentation. It's got a metric shitton of features and it will definitely improve your experience.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Been playing 007 Nightfire with my brother. It's funny that now that I'm older I see some flaws in the game. In multiplayer, you can simply get one of those little tanks or helicopters and be extremely overpowered. My brother got a helicopter and camped my teams spawn area. I suppose that isn't really a flaw but rather something the player does, but knowing my brother he's gonna use it. Either way, I'll never get tired of playing it. It's easily my favourite collection of guns from any first person shooter.

Loved to play it back in the 00's. Never been really impressed by what 3 showed.GNineify wrote:The Sims 2.

I just pre-ordred Overgrowth and got the alpha right ahead. It's a very entertaining game. Nice graphics, good controls. So yeah good game.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I just started playing Sonic Robo Blast 2. It's a very fun game even though it is not made by Sega.

I made something in The Sims 3:

It's the Daft Club! I like the way my pixel-art floor tiling came out.
Oh, and yes, those are Daleks in the lower left-hand corner.

How did you get the Daleks? Did you make them?
