Re: Rayman Merchandise
I remember that this company had something to do with Rayman Collector
Re: Rayman Merchandise
I think what Haruka is talking about is the figure M6 Interactions created. It was used as a promotional toy of sorts for a fast food restaurant (i think- this is from memory and i have terrible memory) and is arguably just as rare as the 100€ statue, but the price is pretty debatable because it's appeared so few times, there's no real "set" price range for it. Images of it are here: http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Rayman ... -133192568 (i don't mean to seem like i'm bragging- sorry)HappyHaunter wrote:Haruka wrote:What are you expecting from one of the hardest and rarest merch to find to be said that less than 500 units were made worldwide? I've seen a small Rayman plush being sold for 120€ so I already expect everything. And you did show up the link.HappyHaunter wrote:
What link? lol Sorry! I just didn't think someone here would be interested on bidding on that for that sort of price.
And the 10/20€ figure you are probably talking about is one I also saw, but it was from M6 Interactions.
M6 interactions? What does that mean?
Personally, I think 100€ is pretty high, considering the original £50 price tag I saw before, but it's somewhat justified for a figure of that rarity. Knowing it uses better materials than the M6 figure, is probably the largest scale Rayman figure and is as rare as it is, I'm not surprised it's being put up for as much money as it is. I've never seen it being sold until now (besides Pix n' Love in 2011) and I'm surprised it's taken that long to resurface.
Re: Rayman Merchandise
The M6 Interactions figure I am talking about is said to be measured around 9cm of height, with the word "Rayman" on his base, made of bendable plastic and clearly inspired from the resine figure. It was a promotional toy in Quick restaurants in the kids meals. I heard along with Rayman, Sonic and Crash Bandicoot were in the collection.
Re: Rayman Merchandise
Bendable plastic? o_o I guess I was talking about the wrong one, then, because mine is rock-solid. I can't really say what sort of material it's made from, though...Some sort of clay. It's pretty durable as it's only sustained a small dent in the tongue.Haruka wrote:The M6 Interactions figure I am talking about is said to be measured around 9cm of height, with the word "Rayman" on his base, made of bendable plastic and clearly inspired from the resine figure. Re: Rayman Merchandise
There was an offer from an ebay member. He sold his lifesize Rayman statue (1-2m high) for 1000€. That statue where Rayman is climbing leptins zeptar looking for a glimpse. That statue were one day on our Toys'r'Us.
Here is a photo about what I'm saying:

(I think my language is bullshit)

Re: Rayman Merchandise
Did I say bendable? I meant solid plastic. What I was thinking when I was writting?
Anyway, Haunter's reply about the resine statue surprises me, from someone who bought three Rayman small Rayman plushes, equally rare items of merch.

Re: Rayman Merchandise
Oh wow I did not realize there were two "versions" of that figure of him making the silly face. Wow that's really interesting. It's still not a price I could justify at the moment but suddenly it makes me think twice about it. Thanks for the info!
Re: Rayman Merchandise
Well then you thought twice and came to the same conclusion.
Re: Rayman Merchandise
I forgot to say that the figure is equally difficult to find.

Re: Rayman Merchandise
$250? Yikes. I'm sure I've seen sealed new copies of R2 on Amazon for far less.

Re: Rayman Merchandise
My European N64 game cost me almost as much as the German seller that emshomar showed. It was not sealed but everything is in very good state, nearly mint.

Re: Rayman Merchandise
I'll post it if I ever find it- the last time I saw and bought my copy was about 1-2 years ago, so it seems somewhat uncommon.emshomar wrote:Found this: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Rayman-Raving-Ra ... 500wt_1414

Re: Rayman Merchandise
I wonder if it was somebody in here who bought a 6,50€ boxed european Rayman 1 game for MS-DOS, the original 1995 release that was being sold in eBay Germany. If it was somebody in here, I thank for your stealing.
