For me the EWJ1 is a little better than the EWJ2, because in the second, they tried to make the gameplay of every level original, and that's great, but sometime too long and boring. I would have prefer it if it has much simple plateformes level.
BTW someone knows if the Windows95 version of EWJ1 is the best and if it contains all the levels in special edition? And if it's the case, how can I have it on W7?

I just wanted to show some EWJ fanart I worked on if that's okay.

The background isn't mine, because I didn't feel like making one.

Ah, Psycrow. Good times. :P

You drew Psycrow himself very well, but Jim looks a bit off.

I like your picture anyway! Psycrow is my favourite villain in the series.

Image Just wanna show off this Earthworm Jim figure I won in a local art contest. I have open the package since I taken this picture, I really dislike leaving figures in it. But I still have it, because it's pretty sweet packaging. Anyone else have the Playmates figures? (I'm recently searching for a Psycrow figure.)

That's pretty cool! But I think I would prefer to own the Mezco figure recently released.

Agree with Haruka. But still I would go for almost ANY Earthworm Jim franchise by now. I seriously love that classic series.

Anyone wishes these two EWJ games were released?:

And this one:

I would love to play the PsP game. And the 2003 concept looks rather interesting.

I remember this, but if the game was canceled, that's because there was a good reason for such.

I know the PSP game was cancelled because of lacking funds. Also the game was about 70% done when it got cancelled.

Bit surprised to see that the games, including 3D, go for 20 euros each on Steam. For an SNES title that's rather high.

I also find the pack expensive, and from what I heard from the STEAM community, the game is emulated through DOSBox and doesn't work 100%. And besides, the pack includes EWJ3D, the worst title ever released.

Hm, DOSBox hasn't always impressed me. Guess I'll find another way to get the game.

DOSBox Emulation? Thats just dumb knowing that HD remake of first game exist. Why not put that on Steam?
As for cancelled titles, one from 2003 was cancelled because they thought it would be risky to release it (prbably because of negative EWJ3D feedback)
PSP one looked promising but it was cancelled because of money issues. Game was almost complete like Bradandez said. Shame that prototype was never leaked.

Because EWJHD is exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles?

And I would prefer to see a fully workable EWJ1 of DOS since from what I know, it owns the same exclusive levels of Mega CD.

Sonic 4 Episode 1 was also on PS3, WiiWare and 360 only but SEGA created Steam Port like 2 years later or so. They could have ported EWJHD as well.

Actually it is not in DOS version but in Windows 95 version. It's called Earthworm Jim Special Edition. I know it is a pain to get the music working on ISO because it has same issues like Captain Claw and Croc 1.

My dislike towards DOS comes from the fact that I have yet to ever play a game using it that doesn't have a gazillion issues. Rayman 1 was slow, stuttering, playing the wrong music, restarting the music when entering a new section, glitchy. Ech.

@OCG I never had issues with the music of Captain Claw.

@Keane It is a shame that Ubi doesn't know about omar's patch, that works much better than the GOG's method to run Rayman Forever.

That's because you have original disc. I sadly don't own Captain Claw on disc so I had to use ISO, and back when younger, I could not get music to work. Later, I did it by disabling real disc drive and putting Daemon Tools drive as a main one. That also seems to work with Earthworm Jim Special Edition. Also, it must be run at compatibility mode in Windows 95 and put colors at 256.
