Well, to be honest, All-Stars is NOT a bad game. It has interesting gameplay and at least lets you play it.... The only complaint that I have about it is that it is not dynamic and intuitive enough to prefer it over Brawl. Also, as I said before, the presentation is too mediocre, considering that this game is supposed to represent the history of PS.

Heh. I actually took your statement seriously, explaining my confusion. I didn't realise it was a bit more humouristic.

On a related note, Fat got Sonic 06 a week or so ago and he actually is enjoying the game. What should I do?

Slapping him in the face and giving him a copy of Sonic Generations is a good option.

Smack him fucking silly, I've rented Sonic 06 to see all the hubba bubba back in 2008, and I wish I never did, an awful game.

On the note of Sonic games... anyone remember Sonic Riders? Not its horrible shitty sequels Zero Gravity and Free Riders for the Kinect, the original Sonic Riders. Really, why did this game get few hate? It didn't get too much- but really, I honestly really want to know, besides the jokingly easy difficulty, the game was a decent racing game, had smooth tracks, really beautiful enviornments, and the pace of speed in the game felt rewarding, and not just in a "HOLD THIS BUTTON TO BOOST INFINITELY LOLOLO" way, in a way that felt satisfying in the game. Though Sonics look in this game is pretty awful. I recently stumbled upon my cd of it, and started playing it, this is a Sonic game that did something different, I can agree the future concept was pretty fucking lame, but if you look past the really stupid story and the "OMG WHY IS SONIC IN THE FUTURE" thing- and just look at the gameplay it's self- it really is great. Of course like every modern Sonic game though, the story was pretty shitty, but the gameplay it's self was pretty rich- and original, it's a fine racing game. It's sequel Zero gravity just took a major shit all over that great concept though, making the game more slow and now applying GRAVITY towards all the obstacles, and matters got worse for Sonic Free Riders for kinect... it's a sonic game... on Kinect, I don't even need to explain how that one was awful. Overall though Sonic Riders wasn't a fantastic game, but it wasn't bad either. But yeah that's literally the only Modern Sonic game (and Generations) that I will defend aside from some of the portable spin-offs, the rest just plain out sucked.

Also I agree with Sergio, give him Sonic Generations- the game was incredible I don't even know where to begin, but I was surprised how Sega managed to deliver a actually GOOD modern Sonic game, without it sucking, because most of the modern Sonic games blew.

I owned both Zero Gravity and the original Riders, my memory of them is rather fuzzy now, but I recall enjoying them, and I liked the finale of Zero Gravity, for some odd reason, the Mobius Loop wasn't anything special, just an endless loop you had to go through to defeat the final "boss," still, it was enjoyable.

Truthfully I disliked Zero Gravity, simply because the game felt like a downgrade from Sonic Riders. And you often expect a sequel to be better. The concept of having to control Gravity sounds cool, but this 'cool' feature takes the boost away from your board ENTIRELY, making the game really slow and boring.

A game series I feel ashamed for never playing... is the Oddworld series, I hear many unique things about the game series, and knowing I have never played one leaves me ashamed... however the steam sales now come up and I see the Oddboxx on sale for only $8.99, so now was my chance to strike... Image got all 4 games from the Oddboxx, big thanks from the great recommendations of Haruka! I'm going to install them all before diving in, and I'll be skyping with Adsolution in a bit before I play them. I hope I'll enjoy it, and I'll certainly be sharing my thoughts.

You did buy the Oddboxx! I'm really happy that you are really going to give a shot to the franchise of Oddworld :D! You won't regret, believe in me. I can't wait to know what you think. Try to play the game in its chronological order for a best gaming experience.

Beat down Mario Party 8. I've started Pokemon Heartgold and Mario Party 9.

Mario Party 8 is a torture... and Mario Party 9 is one hell of a mediocre game. The greatest times I had with my friends were with Wii Party. That game is hilariously awesome, and ironically, a proper Mario Party game.

The one thing I don't understand with Sonic Riders, and generally all of the Sonic racing games... Sonic can run faster than most of that shit, why stick him in a car/on a hoverboard thing?

Sonic Generations was amazing, other than the occasional nitpick (and Sonic fans being Sonic fans and bitching about shit like eye colour) that game was a perfect new Classic Sonic experience. Hell, if they remade the first three Sonic games with the graphics of Generations I would run to the mart and buy it.

The one thing I don't understand with your argument is the fact that it would be cheating.

I would like to give a shot in Wii Party, the reviews seemed ok. I can say I love the N64 Mario Parties, at least the Mario Party 2 and 3, where I used to spend hours in the emulator playing both. :D

Mario Party 1 is terrible for several reasons: if you lose in minigames, you lose your coins. Like it isn't enough, you had a portion of minigames that forced you to use the analog stick in a crazy way.

To be honest about Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, I myself loved playing it. The biggest complaint I usually see are the controls but I learned them in no time despite them being somewhat odd. But the story, it's just ridiculous. That's not the main thing tho.

I got use to the controls in Zero Gravity, but still oddly wasn't too fond of it, the classic Sonic Riders in my opinion just really beats it all the way. Oh yes I 100% agree on the story thing of course.

True, control in ZG with a Wii-Mote was nothing compared to the control gained by using a PS2 controller.
But we got used to it, as for the story, I agree, methinks they went a bit too far, if they really insist on having a "story," then I'd probably only tolerate upto Adventure 2's level, though I believe Sonic games don't need much of a story.
I will say though, I do like the "final boss" of ZG, even if it can be rather irritating.
