Why do you always avoid answering me? I've asked you the same honest, relatively important question at least twice.

We don't have here in house fiber optic. We are connected to internet per TV Cable.

The relatively large post I made on the last page. If you didin't know what I was talking about, why didn't you just look? Your self-proclaimed 'eccentricity' isn't an excuse for that.

Well. I tested it and it worked. I had the same issues than Haruka about the fact that the screen is not centered but as the problem has been solved it's not a problem anymore.

The only problem is this fucking avast which blocked the program and put it away from me. I was forced to desactivate this fucking shit  .

But I don't know where the save files of R1 are put on my computer. That's all. The rest is fine. Good job emsh'

EDIT : I couldn't leave my comment because of two other ones in the meantime XD

EDIT2 : Well, 3.

The save file is always stored next to the Rayman.exe. Go to your Rayman Forever GoG root folder (default for 64bit is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Rayman Forever" and for 32bit: "C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Rayman Forever"). Inside the folder Rayman you'll find your save file which is called "RAYMAN1.SAV". Copy this file to "<the path where you installed rmp>\data\rayman" and your made it!

Mmm RAYMAN1 doesn't seem to exist in the GOG folder. Wait I'm making a research...

EDIT : I found it. It's in another place I dunno why.

Here it is : C:\Users\Maxime\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\GOG.com\Rayman Forever\Rayman.

I know it because I haven't saved my game since this morning so the save date is right.

Windows 8's new security didn't let the executer to do its job unless you check that you run the program with admin rights. This little problem will be fixed in the update 1.16. The program don't need admin rights anymore  . I also created likely an intro shown up if you launch the executer:

I think most people here are their own admins of their computers at least.

Adsolution wrote:I mean, what's the point of having a registration code on the patch at all? If you're worried about legal/moral issues relating to the fact that you're distributing these games for free, creating your own registration is one step more illegal than simply handing the game out. A DRM checking if you owned the game might help, but considering it's a game from the mid-90's, that technology obviously wasn't prominent then, and creating a manual trust-based Rights Management isn't really going to help. That is, if Ubisoft gave a damn about it anyway, which is why I find this DRM not only legally inadvisable, but utterly pointless. You aren't protecting any sales; it's not like Ubisoft themselves are still selling these games.

And no, I didn't change my signature.
I wanted just to protect these Games. Making Registration Codes was an idea. I intended just to create a patch, instead of distributing those. Of course I could just remove DRM and let people get those for free. And of course UbiSoft wouldn't take damage, since they don't sell those anymore. But I'd get trouble with GoG I thought. I even used they're version to get the pcmap of RayFan. Ahh those politcal things makes me headache. Maybe I shouldn't create this at all

EDIT: Sorry I didn't answered that!

Well, there's nothing wrong with the patch, just don't worry about the security.

Anyway, GOG also uses emulation to run the DOS games, so I also don't see what's the issue. To be honest it would be better for me not having the DRM.
